Kenyon Martin “Raining Down the Love!”
Shout to Smack reader Alf – this might be one of my favorite calls of the year:
“Oh!! Tomahawk follow! (Def?) Jam! Kenyon Martin raining down the love! Wow!”
After K-Mart spiked this cram through, I’d imagine that the ESPN broadcast booth looked like a bunch of guys with bitter beer face.

Although K Mart does a lot of unnecessary parading over worthless dunks, this one was impressive. I watched the game and was surprised when I realized it was Kenyon. I didn’t think he still had that in him.

It makes you wonder what type of monster he could have been if his legs weren’t so weak.

Hi guys. Kenyon Martin sure can slam the basketball ball! He used to be my favourite player when he was on the Nets, but now he is on the Nuggets. Best wishes to K-Mart in the playoffs!!

“Celtics coach Doc Rivers said this morning in a radio interview that All-Star forward Kevin Garnett will likely miss the entire NBA playoffs due to his knee injury.”
FIGURES. The ONE TIME I need these guys. I needed them to take care of Cleveland for me. I’d rather face Boston than CLEVELAND in the finals! DANG DANG DANG!!!

So great to hear Callabro and Hubie on the call. The hometown Denver announcers are the absolute worst in the league. I like the Nugs and tune in to many of their games on League Pass, but have to mute the audio. And it seems like League Pass always goes with the Denver broadcast just to spite me. Anyway, finally the second season is here!

When it rains it poures!! Nice to see him in good e-nuff health to get up in the night like that! Just when I thought he might completely turn into McDyess in 2010 before season started, but game by game it felt like he gets the bounce back. he got it back like a mf if u need to ask me!
All that being said, Coach Nate needs to teach them two big kids how to box out.

@11 – S SIN – what clip did you see that I didn’t?
GO and SERG actually WERE boxin’ out…it was LA who caught a bad angle and was plain useless.
All of Portland’s eyes were on Melo.
Outlaw eats pick.
GO picks up the ‘roller.’
Melo jacks shot with Outlaw’s hand in his face.
GO boxes out.
SERG boxes out.
Instead of boxing out, LA tries to get position for the rebound.
KMART’s at the left elbow, waiting, timing, anticipating…

Probably “Death Jam” not def jam. It’s a good call though even if it isn’t tomahawk.
