There are a lot of reasons why L.A. ranks as the NBA’s foremost “destination” city — the #1 place guys love to visit on road trips, and will always want to play no matter how good or bad the team is — and most of them have nothing to do with the weather.
Andrew Bynum is taking full advantage of living in L.A., whether it’s partying at the Playboy mansion, or getting close enough to chase international pop divas. Read More »
Cavs/Pistons is one of those series that makes us pine for the days of the first round being best-of-five. By now it’s pretty obvious Detroit is cooked; they showed some heart in cutting Cleveland’s 30-piecing in half during the fourth quarter last night (with Will Bynum as the sparkplug), and maybe they can steal one at home if Cleveland relaxes, but really, we know who’s moving on from this and who’s gonna pop up on Kenny Smith‘s “Gone Fishin’” poster … Read More »

At the risk of enraging some of the many Toronto fans who are regularly on our site, I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a softer team in the NBA this season than the Raptors – I’m talking physically and mentally. And I’m pretty sure that most sane Raps fans would agree.
Raps’ GM Bryan Colangelo says that’s all about to change. Read More »
When Phil Jackson said last week that he would pick Dwight Howard over LeBron James, Dwyane Wade or Chris Paul if he were building a team from scratch, I thought he was crazy. Sure, you don’t find a 6-11, 265-pound player every day of the week, but it’s a guard’s game right? Wrong. Read More »
