The Softest Ejection Of the Year
Holy crap this is pathetic. Carlos Boozer and Joel Przybilla exchanged some unsavory words at half court and the NBA’s panicky refs came in to assess double T’s.
OK, I’m fine with that. They wanted to break it up. And that’s exactly what happened – both guys stayed about 10 feet away from each other, and as the following play was beginning, they were still jabbering a bit. That’s normal. But Olandis Poole tossed them for saying a couple more things before play resumed. Come on, ref’s should should wait until something, anything happens before throwing guys out of the game.
… By the way, after watching this video twice, I’m not sure what Bombastic Sports is, but it’s been permanently ingrained in my mind.

also sloan gets ejected for pointing at a ref a few mins later. jerry gets ejected with only one tech? still, blazers cracked my jazz early, roy is roy and la played like a bigman should instead of his early season jumpshooting over-reliance. portalnd = deadly at home.

Blame the brawl at the palace..that’s the main reason players get punished for every little thing and I still can’t believe people don’t realize it. The league is scared that incidents like this one could lead to a huge fight and they don’t want the league to get another black eye. So that’s the reason players get tossed out so easily.
Blame the brawl and the nba haters who always accuse nba players of being thugs every time there’s a hard foul or a little fight, so that’s why the league is scared about this thing and wants to eliminate the possibility of a fight.

I think you need an eyewitness account of the situation. I got season tickets, five rows back from center court where they were yelling. I couldnt tell what they were saying, but they would not stop jawing at each other. The play started with pryz drawing a charge and boozer lightly tossing the ball. Pryz being the studly hard ass gorilla that he is wasnt gonna take it, and starts letting boozer the looser know it(if you question boozer being a looser, he went to duke, automatic loser status, go heels) so they jaw at each other and get in each others faces, the refs let it go a bit but then gives them both techs. they keep jawing at each other 8 feet from the ref, the entire time i am thinking they are gonna get ejected soon, as they go for about 15 seconds the ref finally ejects them. they got the warning techs and neither stopped, so the official ejected them to keep some control in the game. If you let things go further, it may end up like the laker game at the rose garden where rudy has a open layup and ariza, lightly hits a 160 pound man in the air, which causes a big fall and escalates into a big pushing man fest. whatever, any ref would have ejected them, very light ejections, but with the playoff atmospheres coming, you gotta keep control.
