fallinup says:
Nice…now hook the white guy up and show the even better block Birdman got on Odom earlier in the game.
May 28th, 2009 at 9:00 am
Biggie Rection says:
try and get the shannon brown nastiness on the break. that was THE PLAY of the game
May 28th, 2009 at 9:03 am
E$ says:
Who was that guy? I haven’t seen him in the 1st 4 games of the series……
May 28th, 2009 at 9:15 am
Crabhands says:
The ‘at the rim’ block earlier by Birdman had on Odom was very impressive when you realize that Odom had a lot more momentum when they meet.
Though this is why guys won’t challenge at the rim much.

karizmatic says:
That’s some get back after the earlier block. Do ya thang Lamar!
May 28th, 2009 at 9:27 am
Bigdoggchad says:
Now show the block were birdman was the rim and Lamar was the guy that tried to dunk in the old “grant hill drinks sprite” commercial.

Frank says:
That could’ve been an offensive foul.. look at Odom’s right arm…
And wtf is Luke Walton doing?
May 28th, 2009 at 9:43 am
DADDY GREEN says:
yea that was nasty but birdman blocked him 3 times b4 that.and luke walton headbutted him in the back lol wat the hell was that sh!t??? lmao
May 28th, 2009 at 10:02 am
TWolves Convert says:
The best part was definitely the Walton headbutt. Who does that?
May 28th, 2009 at 10:47 am
Rare Air says:
Lmao at Walton! dude tries hard and can at least pass the ball well. It was good payback after Birdman stuffed him earlier in the game. The Shannon Brown dunk with tits though, really gave LA a boost. Nene going out with 4 minutes left just killed Denver, they cant play without him.
May 28th, 2009 at 10:48 am
Michorizo says:
That was Walton’s way of giving Odom head for penetrating down the middle.
May 28th, 2009 at 10:49 am
Lakers Nation says:
9. – Head Butt into the arm pit was kind of weird, but whatevers . . . that was a emotional highpoint of the game.
I agree with mostly everyone here . . . that was a makeup dunk for a pretty damn legit block the birdman had earlier in the game . . . just glad Shannon AND Lamar got their posters on . . .Birdman’s gonna get stuffed on more than he’s gonna block . . that’s just how the league works . . he’s painted a huge bullseye on his forehead with his antics and persona, so he’s gonna get more facials than a pornstar next year!

that's whats up says:
the title of this article should be “Lamar Odom knocks Birdman upside the head, then crams on him”
May 28th, 2009 at 11:09 am
Dagomar says:
Fucking hate Odom. Why can’t he do this all the time? He could be one of the best players in the league but he’s only there mentally about a quarter of the time.
May 28th, 2009 at 11:19 am
mules says:
could it be a first ever that Birdman was directly involved in NBA.com’s Block of the Night, Dunk of the Night, and Steal of the Night (although the “steal” part of the Steal of the Night was really just a bad turnover)
May 28th, 2009 at 11:26 am
srb says:
The headbutt was hilarious. I’m going to try that next time I play.
May 28th, 2009 at 11:54 am
Ekstor says:
Give Birdman cred… he’s willing to go up and to risk whatever to get the block… he nearly got this fingers smashed against the rim on the earlier block he had on Odom. He’s got guts.
