Paul Pierce Drops 41 Points (To Oust Cavs)

364 days ago, Paul Pierce erupted for 41 points as the Celtics eliminated the Cavs in Game 7 to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. With only eight points (2-of-6 shooting) in the first half, I figured I’d give Pierce some inspiration in case he happened to be surfing Dimemag.com during halftime. Go Celtics!

Glad that’s done…refs tried as hard as they could to give the game to the Celts, but even they couldn’t help them from being destroyed. Fuck you Celt fans.

  2. that's whats up says:

a year from now DIME can reminisce how Pierce dropped 16 to lose Game 7

  3. QQ says:

A year from now Dime would reminisce why Eddie House was yapping like he is relevant and why Glen Davis was acting like hiss game winner closed out the series, while the Magic clinched the series like it was only part of the job: No screaming, no garbage, no bullshit.

OMG! And Im an asshole? lmao who at Dime hates Boston…this is comedic gold!

  5. dk says:

@3 congrats to your team making it. I hope O-Town hits 60% of their threes for the next 4 games so King James can go back to what he does best, tossing around powder.

    dank,
rondo finished with a double double and just 1 TO.

  10. dank says:

did he lead his team to the eastern conference finals? did he fill the void for KG?

  11. Aron Phillips says:

    @dank

No one would EVER expect Rondo to fill the void for KG. That’d be liking asking Dwight to play point when Jameer went down. Not possible.

    @ AP

Wow, I hope its a good series but your placing alot of faith in Denvers weak front court, volatile and inexperianced. I think defensively Houston was twice as tough. I see Chauncey having a decent series and Melo having two, maybe three, great games. I just dont think they have the pieces to compete against the Lakers on either end of the court. I know the Lakers are a shit team right now but its not the first time the future NBA champions dumbed down to an inferior team and moved forward to annihalte a quality team. The Lakers will show up in LA and show up big when Denver tries to switch to showtime, no ones gonna out showtime, showtime. Then I see the Lakers taken one of two ultra physical games in the mile high city.

    @ The Cleavland Fans

I just see Cleavland being outclassed in this series. Offensively the only thing Cleavland has is Powder head. Im sure Coach Panic know not to double Bron and lock down all of Cleavlands puny ass shooters/wanna be PG’s. If Orlando does not allow them guys to get going and Zeke is obviously neautrilized, whats left? Bron for 80, Scoliosis Serbiak**? I dont think so. As far as match up problems defensively for the Cavs, you got em’ . Which one of your little guards are gonna be key in your late defensive rotations to get a hand up in 6′10″ Rashards three point bomb, or Puetrus shot or Hedos eyes. Its not gonna happen, there will be no fear of letting threes go the entire series. You an go full time man because of Dwight so I see so many problems for Cleavland and it translates back a couple years considering there 3 out of 11 vs. O- Town. That includes being neaely swept by the Magic, blown out twice and pulling off a close one at home with the refs help. Good luck Cleavland you will need a lid on the rim to win.

The self-proclaimed “best player on the planet” got recycled this year. Enjoy watching the remainder of the playoffs from your couch, Pierce.
