Funny how no one ever gives Credit to Kobe. Name one player in the NBA that would go at Artest and jaw jack with him? Name one? you can say the lakers are not tough, but dont give me that crap when you talk about Kobe. Dude does not back down to anyone and he dont care if they crazy, if they crazy, Kobe might throw even more blows at him. And do you really think LBJ could have done well agaisnt the Artest/Battier tandem? I dont think so, I dont think any player in the NBA could handle those 2 guys checkin them and still get off.

to all those people who say that all the superstars get favorable calls. you guys do know that kobe has more techs (5) than lebron has fouls? obviously some are held to a higher degree. as in lebron isn’t allowed to foul even if he tackles josh smith in the air.

Before this years playoffs, I always thought Artest is overrated, and he is a bad rapper.

Now, I am completely flattered at how he carries the Rockets without T-Mac and Yao, and how he gives Kobe such a hard time. My view of Artest turned around 180° in only 12 playoff games.

But he is still a bad rapper.

LakeShow – You even have to admit that 85% of the Laker fans are bandwagon fans. I want to like them, but the fans are just so stupid and ignorant that it makes it difficult. I’m not saying all of them are, but most of them.

I agree with #18, Karonte.

It’s a sneaky move by Bryant to knock his shoulder into a dude while starting to move to a new position. It’s subtle and the refs will never notice it away from the ball.

Artest’s overreaction was “cheap” but just as “cheap” as Bryant’s hit. In other words, both are veteran moves.

Yeah it was not fake contact but it really didn’t deserve a tech but if ron ron didn’t run away the refs would have tossed him for just standing there next to Kobe with his hands up so yeah he did what he had to get a call which, but it was hilarious that it actually worked.
