America Dunks On The World

After an amazing week in France embedded with the 2K Sports Preseason All-American Team, I’m back. Hanging with the stars of the Class of 2010, if you’re still unfamiliar with these kids by now, you’re sleeping on game. If you hadn’t been following my whole trip on High School Hoop, head over there now so you can be the one telling your buddies who’s the Next Big Thing. Oh yea, and you just might see the Dunk of the Year courtesy of Jason Morris

if thats the dunk of the year, its going to be a really boring year.

  2. Bron42 aka Good Morning Lebron says:

gotta agree with iso, arons got some low dunk standards.

  3. Dime Magazine says:

For a dunk contest, for a 16-year-old, that’s impressive. You see how far out he is?

  4. weezy f says:

it was nice but not dunk of the year come on

  5. haslem says:

    @isotope
yea am I missing something? I’m pretty sure some of my friends have pulled that dunk (with more of a running start tho) did I miss something?

  6. haslem says:

i watched it again he was pretty far out but still dunk of the year?

  7. maddskizzle says:

Canada won the tournament though without Tristan Thompson and Cory Joseph.

Future’s looking bright north of the border.

  8. Bron42 aka Had Springs Before Slamball says:

how far out? hes inside the foul line..and its not like hes 6’0 ya kno, 16 or not. not really a hard dunk and def not dunk of the year.

  9. Sweet English says:

First off it wasn’t Dime who started calling it Dunk of the year it was highschoolhoops. But i gotta agree with everyone else, it wasn’t that great.

  10. TruthBurns says:

    “America dunks on the world”?

America, who was probably favored going into this tourney, only won 2 games and Lost 4.

Poor performance and a very mis-leading headline to say the least. Does winning the dunk-off count for something Aron Phillips?

How about some real reporting, like about why this all-star team under-acheived?

  11. TruthBurns says:

    My bad.
    U.S. won 2 and lost 3 games.
Still not what was expected going into this tourney.

  12. Ekstor says:

Not even a clean dunk… looks like he caught his leg on the prop.
