Hansbrough to the Nets puts them head and shoulders above the Knicks, and makes them a contender for some playoff wins. T Williams will be this year’s ROY in my opinion, and even though I will get laughed at for saying this-Blake Griffin will not be a difference maker. He will be a good player, but the Clippers should trade that pick for some future picks and a backup PG. The difference in the first 5 picks is minimal, and this draft has no standout really. The combine showed Griffin’s athletic ability closer to Hansbrough’s than Superman’s. That is still very good- but not a great year to have the 1st pick IMO.

Looks good guys! I’m glad we got close. The biggest question mark right now is Rubio. I think he’ll be very good, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Wade was amazing in college but coming out he was undersized and without a jumper, so GM’s weren’t completely sold on taking him in the top 3. Parker was also relatively unknown as was his running mate Ginobili, who actually went 58th in 2001, so you can’t really say anything on his draft position as every other team passed on them also.
