Gary Payton Mentors Terrence Williams
With the NBA Draft one week away, check out this great video of Gary Payton preparing draft prospect Terrence Williams for the NBA. Not a bad mentor if you ask me.

I watched this a few days ago. This is a great look for Terrence!
The only thing from this snip is that Terrence isn’t working against anyone. That little guy isn’t really going to show him how explosive he is going to need to be, but I guess for skill building it works.
Who else in this draft is working with a HOF player at their position?

Mentorin by GP. That’s a good decision by T Dub. Dude is my sleeper pick for rookie most likely to fall in draft then shock the teams that passed on him. Danny Granger styles..

lol i was just out at that court last month for his pick up games and i don’t get no trainin sessions? thats messed up Gp. But ya, him missin 3s would actually count as potential since hes not a finished product. Hes a 6′7 above legit athlete and now learnin the funadamentals from a NBA hof pg…thats a scary combination.

That’s was missing in most people’s lives aside from parents & a strong, solid foundation. Are mentors there like tourist guides through life. All these young athletes in all sports and kids in general need a mentor to look up to & understand. It would do wonders for the game and most importantly life skills. It something thats priceless and a vital necessity. Each player should be allowed questions and personal time wth their favorite player.

Chaos says:
Williams got a workout warrior pushing him everyday up until and possibly in he offseason afterward. Teams should be taking an even mroe serious look at terrence because he is getting pushed just as much as other guys projected in the top 5…big ups to GP at training guys…the three is a working progress for young nba players
