He needs to stay in a similar system that allows him to be the ball handler half the game. The only other teams he can do that with are: Phoenix, San Antonio and Golden State. The suns are the only team with the trade chips to make this work. If Turk goes anywhere else, he's done. He'll get paid, he'll get 40 mil over 4 years, or 50 over 5, and someone will suffer for it down the track. Turk is a good player in that system. Howard is an amazing screener, he's strong, he has more than enough agility to square up any perimeter defender; without him I'm not sure Turkoglu gets to the hoop as much. I think Turkoglu would be a solid player anywhere but I doubt he'll be able to transfer his full production level from Orlando to another team. So you could be risking some intangibles by letting go of the Queens native.
