I know what it meant but you know the marketing people at Nike knew that it could be interpreted differently. ..Summer of ’10 people

I was telling everyone how LeBron should go to the Clippers about 2 weeks ago. ‘Cept I don’t have the PR connections that Mike Wilbon has lol.

I think you’ll see LeBron play in the pits of hell before you see him play for the Clippers. They could draft 100 Blake Griffins, it’s still a franchise you don’t want to be associated with — and the sketchiest owner in professional sports. If you could write your ticket anywhere in the league to play, there’s no way you go THERE.
The big 24 is in the back since the whole campaign was designed around the two of them. The point of the ad was obviously the orange and blue bird.

zach says:
None of you saw the bird at the end it was blue and orange NY 2010

Ray says:
Who wouldn’t want to play any professional sport in Los Angeles (except for the LA Galaxy, cause face it, who likes soccer?)?
Isn’t this the same Clippers franchise that made the playoffs led by Sam Cassel (that’s saying a lot!). Mike Dunleavy is a hell of a coach but they just don’t have the confidence nor the right players to make them in a powerhouse team.

yentron0 says:
yeah who likes soccer? oh yeah, the entire planet.
June 12th, 2009 at 11:35 pm
Ray says:
The entire planet sides our country…like really, no offense but something ain’t right if your a bigger soccer fan than either football, basketball or baseball.
I’m glad you wasted a post on bringing up a pointless comment I made that has nothing to do with this entire thread..congrats

Maynard says:
Just to get this straight, if you play for the Lakers, you play in Los Angeles. If you play for the Clippers, you play for the Clippers.
I agree, the Clips were serious in 05-06. (And Cassell was actually no joke — he averaged 17 and 6 that year) But that team was really led by a monstrous 25-ppg Elton Brand, pre-injury and playing out of his mind.
Now bear in mind that Dunleavy (who is a good guy) is also the GM, and he killed their cap space for 2010 by acquiring Zach Randolph and his DUIs. And factor in the worst, sketchiest, most racist owner in the league — http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4187729 — and you can see why I don’t think there’s a shot in hell LeBron would even consider going there.

Let’s get this right ay, it’s ‘football’ not soccer and it is by far the biggest and most enjoyed sport in the world. I’m not trying to get into a debate here cause I love all sports (Basketball naturally is the sh1t) hence why I read/post on this site but don’t even try and insult the greatest sport known to man.

did no one see the orange and blue bird at the end of the commercial?! HELLLLLO i don’t know where all this L.A. talk is coming from
June 13th, 2009 at 12:40 pm
Pedro says:
yeah man. it’s football, not soccer. you play it with your feet, not run around with the ball in your hands.
either way, i love football, basketball, baseball, hockey, nfl, you name it.
but football is the number 1 sport in the world, no question.
