Im not sure if the people who are loving kapono so much have ever watched a raptors game…we were all excited when kapono came, but he can only hit in competitions…as for evans, no one is expecting him to do much but grab a couple rebounds when the starters are out…which is an improvement considering i cannot remember kapono doing anything but turn the ball over and pass up open threes. In addition, it opens up 2 mill for free agents…I would say the raptors won, but if kapono does what he is capable of on a team that needs a shooter, than it is a good trade for both teams…

thank god the awful kapono commercials (shooting 3s for groceries)in canada will stop…now if we could just get rid of the awful bosh juicy fruit commercials, too…that would just leave the awful ones of bargnani eating spaghetti. who comes up with this crap? vince carter’s #15 raptors jersey remains the franchise icon, and after araujo, bosh, bargnani,in the last few drafts, and o’neal, marion, banks, o’bryant, and now evans in the last few trades, there really isn’t much to get excited about, is there?

Also Kapono was on a team full of shooters. Every on was on the perimeter with the occasional cutter. Bosh was facing up all the time, so it is a different game.

In Miami as stated Kapono showed that he can be effective in stretching the court. He played with possibly the most aggressive driver in the L in Wade. He also had shaq at times drawing defenders. I like the addition either way. Reggie is a good piece, but his exit will force some of the youngs to play hungry for extra minutes.

Jason Smith has nice touch and an outside J. He and Speights should get big minutes with their assortment of skills, but do they have the will to make a difference? We’ll see. That with elton and Dalembert gives us a very versatile Front court.

Now we need to figure out the Andre Miller situation before the draft.

I want Ramon Sessions on the team pronto.

kapono can not play defense. hes a 3 point shooter who doesnt shoot 3s. 76ers r stupid to get him, now they have a huge gaping hole in their defence. who cares about evans, i like the cap space we got, looks like colangelo is ready to make some moves.

A player like kapono barely even gets shots up with Chris bosh and everyone else. Say what you will, but he is a good 3pt shooter and im sure a change of scenery will help.

* role players don’t get a lotta shots specially to get in rhythm, so who knows how he’s gonna do

i hope kudabeen’s right.. hopefully the trade works out for both teams. i think kapono might actually start.. right? can’t tell me he’s not a good shooter. with Wade in miami this kid was lighting it up. how come all of a sudden he can’t do that?
