Sixers bring back old logo
In March, when the Sixers closed out the old Philadelphia Spectrum in a retro-style game against the Bulls, I know I wasn’t the only one who wished the old-school change was permanent. Following almost every NBA game almost every night on League Pass, there are certain teams that I just have a hard time watching simply for aesthetic reasons — uniforms, court, crowd atmosphere, etc. — and the Sixers are usually high on that list.
Today, Philly did the right thing and went back to the old look. The team announced they’re switching to the old logo for next season, and later this summer will unveil a new (presumably old) court design and alternate uniforms.

I was at the unveiling at the Comcast Center today. Funny thing, in the highlight reel of plays in the retro unis, not one highlight showed Sammy Dalembert. Pretty telling sign.
Even funnier, Willie Green had like 5 highlights! 5! I didnt think he would have 5 highlights going back to middle school.
