What’s In The Box: Fight Night Round 4 x Nike Air Force 1

fight-night

While I’m sure you’re familiar with our “What’s In The Box?” features on DimeMag.com, with highlights such as THIS, when we showed up this morning we were in for a pleasant surprise when one of the most anticipated games of 2009 arrived at our door.

With Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson featured on the cover, the game is going to be ridiculous! The last version was an office favorite, and had us almost as unproductive as we are during March Madness. Plus, the special case and Fight Night Round 4 x Nike Air Force 1s are amazing. We don’t even know how many pairs they did, but we’re sure they’re super limited.

The game drops in stores next week on June 25, 2009 for Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3. For more info and some great behind-the-scenes extras, visit their website. Check out the trailer below:

C’mon. Ali would have killed Tyson.

Also, wasn’t this the premise of the last Rocky movie?

  2. Michorizo says:

    I’ll take Tyson

  3. doc says:

I’ll take ALI.As hard as Mike hit Ali had a chin of steel. And Mike aint hitting harder than Foreman was.Just made it look more viscous. But its been proven when u fight Mike back he turns into Michelle.yall got PS3 or 360.Whats yall gamertag so I can go grab the game and knock yall the fuck out.

ONE OF IF NOT THE BEST BOXING GAMES OF ALL TIME…

nothing beats old school punch out. but my boys and i would have countless tournaments with the last go round of fight night.

  5. doc says:

Nthing beat punchout back in the day. That shit like black and white tv now.

  6. Big V says:

    @Doc,

Its not that Tyson hit harder than Foreman, it’s that he hits tremendously hard, along with speed and combination punching.

Whereas a guy like Foreman might pack a hell of a punch, it’s a single shot. Tyson, although not as hard of a hitter, would throw 4-5-6 punches in a row, each one of which was capable of producing a knockout. He was also blindingly fast and had extremely good head movement early on in his career.

Not saying he would take Ali, but I don’t think the Foreman comparison is a fair one to dismiss his chances.

bad as it looks, in both of their primes, with all due respect, i have to go with iron mike…

tyson takes no prisoners back in the heyday, no matter how big or small, man, ali can’t do his swagger thing with iron mike’s blitz…

  8. POPPI GEE says:

Ali was a smart fighter who had the mix of power, speed and execution. Tyson has had trouble with smarter fighters and Ali would have frustrated Tyson, beat him and before the fight wrote a poem and predicted when he would have knocked him out too.

how can i get a pair fo those kicks tho?
