I love live but I have been disaapointed the last couple of years. Live has always done great job on the graphics but slacks on gameplay. Im hoping that this years version will step up and “out shine” 2K10.

I’ve been a LIVE fan since Bulls vs. Lakers. And you guys are right Live has fallen off, but to me Live is making a comeback. NBA 2K was good when they were making it for Dreamcast. Now since they made it for Xbox and PS3, I fine the controls on 2K9 and Draft Combine very difficult. Crossover moves are pulled off by the turbo button, the movement is very stagnant, you can barely move. When I have the ball and rush to the basket, then have a change of mind cause I have another player coming it doesnt stop on point. Yall think 2K is realistic are you sure your not playing PS2 versions. And yeah Live had rough couple of years. The way Live is looking its looking way better than years, 2K games are not my style, look what happen to NFL 2K (rumors are they making a comeback *sigh* I doubt it lol. I find 2K very boring, not interesting and so freaking difficult to maneuver the player around. I been with Live thick and thin and I think right here Live is Back and ready to make real basketball games

what up I been playing live since it’s first debut and i also played 2k since it’s first debut and i find in the 90’s live ruled but since 1999 till now 2k has crushed the competition so i will start by saying it’s only due for EA to come back in the new decade but don’t rule out 2k as of yet or you will be fooling yourself. I will start with live 09, I played it and I found that the graphics to be quite unique except for the score board being to low, game play , hotspots, and the horrible online play. Now for 2k09 great overall game play but graphics are very poor and online play is also poor. overall 2k09 is the better game but oops Mike Wang is leaving 2k to go to EA might have some loyal 2k fans following his lead. So your best bet is to rent both games, you know like blockbusters, a friend ha ha, and my fav is GAME FLY give you time to analyze before you buy!!! PEACE TO ALL GAMERS!

I don’t appreciate the fact that you guy said there will be more stuff on this game “next week”, yet 10 days have passed and there is nothing to talk about yet. I don’t mind long delays, just dont front and tell us there wont be.

JB^ what you talking about, if you were a grown up experienced gamer you would know the 2k9 controls are for people who got experienced and you can control what dribble move you want to do. You right there shouldn’t be a debate because Nba live 09 looks like stick people with a cracked gameplay. But this year nba live 10 is the game i rooting for.

All you guys on here that say 2K is better are crazy! In 2K you have no, and I mean none, control over the moves your player can do. You can’t make them do a spin move, crossover, anything. It’s rediculous. You gotta hope the computer does it for you. WHACK! And just look at the history of EA games compared to 2K games, are you guys serious. EA makes the best sports games hands down across the board. I can’t believe there’s even a debate.

sigh … (ejay) “2k is just so ahead of the game is not even compairable.” Comments like these are just stupid. (I didn’t correct the spelling because it is further proof ) Neither game is out yet so both fanboys of 2k/live should shut up. I am excited for live but the game isn’t out. No one has played either of them so saying one is better than the other at this point is a waste of time. 2k9 was better than nba live 09. (that’s where it ends) I am hyped for nba live but like I said in a comment above when both games release it will be the better of the two that receive my money.
