Why would Joe go get Doug Collins when Doug couldnt do anything with the prior teams he had and he had jordan for what 3-4 years? I hope it is BL because at least then we will be tough and not be so sheedy (whiny). BTW: If sheed goes to Clevland or Orlando, the east is whichever team out of those 2 get him, lord forbidif he goe sto boston.

Rockets will prolly land Gortat but Bosh I don’t know. Hopefully they can just get Gortat and keep Tracy. They saying Kidd likely wont go NY but i really see him leaving Dallas and leaving Cuban high and dry. Love this time of year with all the movement but still miss the game.

A few comments:

- “It’s a good problem to have when you’re giving up one walking double-double at power forward but you’ve got another one sitting right there ready to make an All-Star bid” – not at the additional cost of approximately $8M more and with the likelihood of considerable additional games lost to injury!

- Collins in Detroit- What is up with all the retread coaches? (i.e. Sacramento) Is there no fresh blood in the coaching ranks? No one from Europe could come in here and do the job? [No college coaches need apply though]

- Love CV7 in Cleveland. He could be the answer for R. Lewis/Pierce come playoff time… in that he would score enough to counterbalance their scoring, not that he would be able to defend them

- Memphis and the Clips working on a deal- Talk about two organizations attempting to polish turds…

Laimbeer is out. Detroit sources have said he doesn’t have much of a shot at all, because Joe D is actually looking for experience….

I hope its Avery…Doug Collins just seems too dang old to matter much…plus I would miss Collin’s Keys on TNT…

What happened the last time they had a non player’s coach? Larry Brown…and at least Avery wont be in a interview going uhhhh…we just need to rebound the ball…uh…and play some defense…uh…and we’ll be ok…uhhhhhhh

Seriously so hard to listen to Curry’s interviews between quarters and all that…

I can almost gaurantee that Dumars already has the replacement in line for the new coach. There is going to be no search. It’s either Lambeer or maybe he talked Tom Izzo into leaving Michigan St (I doubt it) But he definetaly already has atleast a verbal commitment from someone to be the next coach. (Remember when he fired a coach of the year/eastern conference finals coach out of nowhere and brought in Larry Brown)

Nice offseason so far by Danny Ainge. First the Rondo trade rumors and know Powe. It would only take a max of 1M to sign Powe to a qualifying offer. I guess those comments by Doc about offering Powe a contract didn’t matter to DA. I hope Boston will end up resigning Powe.

I’d be willing to bet JR was blowing DRO on 24′s right before the accident happened. I bet he was twisted like a bag of rope. Blackenesed eyes. Dro seepin out da whip. And like a dumbass, I bet his boy wasn’t wearin a seatbelt. JR was prolly in the midst of taking a monster rip off da B when he forgot he was driving. His car then proceeded to hit the divider and tumble.
