I’ve always wanted to take a trip to Asia. Between the rich, ancient history, the unique cuisine and the chance to see Ron Artest perform live, I think I’d have a good time. Now thanks to my man Rahn Johnson I now have another reason to call my travel agent and book a flight. Feast your eyes on the Asia only exclusive adidas TS Lightning Creator Yin Yang x Rahn Johnson. Rahn took the already rugged TS Lightning Creator silhouette and added some very unique flavor.

Yesterday afternoon ESPN.com posted a story about how Jonathan Bender is plotting an NBA comeback. For a guy who only played 237 games over seven seasons in the NBA because of various injuries, a legitimate comeback seems like a real longshot.
Th article speculates that the man who brought him to Indiana on Draft night back in the day, Donnie Walsh, might be interested in taking a chance with him in New York…
Yesterday, veteran NBA columnist Sam Smith posted this on Bulls.com:
It’s being whispered now among NBA types because, I believe, under a secret NBA/ESPN provision you are not permitted to say aloud anything that might be interpreted to suggest LeBron James isn’t the best thing to ever happen in anyone’s life. But sitting in the stands in Las Vegas at the USA Basketball mini-camp and hearing NBA coaches and general managers, the gasps have been for Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant. I’ve now heard more than one say Durant could be a better player than James given Durant’s combination of amazing size at about 6-10 and pure shooting stroke. And he’s still 20. The feeling is Durant is on the brink of being a 30 per game scorer. Plus, Durant is a serious worker.
Naturally, my first reaction was “Sam, GTFOH.” Read More »
We know not all of our readers are into wrestling, which is fine. But for those of you out there who do like it like we do, Shaq was the “guest host” of WWE Raw last night. As always Shaq was the man on the mic and in the ring, never breaking character or cracking a smile (that we saw) even when he he calls Big Show “fat boy.” And good news for LeBron and Cavs fans – The Diesel looks like he’s in great shape.
Check out his entrance last night (and Jerry Lawler‘s pronouncement that Shaq is a “15-time MVP”), right at the top of the ramp, Shaq grabs a sign that says “Long Live King Kobe” and rips it in half.
Dating back to the failed ’09 deadline trade that was supposed to send Tyson Chandler to Oklahoma City for a package headlined by Chris Wilcox, every rumored deal we heard involving Chandler had the Hornets getting short-changed. Names like Rasho Nesterovic and Didn’t You Used To Be Ben Wallace were among those being thrown around, but if the trade that was reported last night to be close to happening actually goes through, the Hornets would be big winners. The rumor has Emeka Okafor headed to New Orleans in a trade for Chandler, and last time we checked, several sources are saying it’s just about complete … Read More »
ESPN.com’s Marc Stein is reporting that a Hornets/Bobcats deal that would essentially swap Tyson Chandler with Emeka Okafor is in the “advanced” stages.
Stein doesn’t know yet if the deal is limited to these two players and/or teams, but says that talks have been going on since last week.
If it’s a straight-up swap of Chandler and Okafor, which team benefits the most?
