Rasheed Makes KG Look Even More Insane
When KG first guaranteed back-to-back championships, I wrote that because he did so, “KG will now have to ratchet the insanity up a notch on the court. I have no clue what else he could add to his repertoire, but I’m sure he’ll dream something up.”
Garnett’s diabolical laugh at the 2:10 mark in this video confirms that original suspicion. Before watching this, I would have said the East would go Cleveland, Orlando, Boston next year. Now I think bloodthirsty KG rips someone’s head off and the Celts win it all.

Diabolical laugh? It was more like a whimper. And you could have said “pause” to about 3 things KG mentioned from 2:15 to 3 minutes.
If Sheed starts, that thins out their bench. If I’m Doc, especially since KG is coming off the injury, knowing that you’ll have to slowly bring him along during the season, I’d have Sheed come off the bench to add that punch and actually be able to run plays through him. This might even allow either Pierce or Allen to get a couple extra mins of rest a game, which could add up over the season.

I would bet my life’s savings that they win it next year IF they stay healthy. When I look at this year’s free agent group, the two baddest muddas were Artest and Sheed, and now both have gone to contenders for the MLE. This is the ish that MAKES playoff basketball, not that weak ass soft garbage of the finals last year.

Middle Level Exception Otto…yeah it’s funny Sheed had to get braids for this. The team should be interesting. Sheed definitely comes off the bench, but he’ll be around in the crunch. Should be a good season coming up. KG seems to just like to hear himself talk a lot of the stuff he said was completely unneccessary.

KG is simply soft in the paint and always has been. Who cares? The Celts will not get out of the Eastern conf. unless Pierce and Ray have the offensive punch to do it, which they didn’t have last year.

Sheed rocking the braids makes me think back to his Portland days…its gonna be sad not seeing Sheed everynight in Detroit, but I wont miss his 7 missed 3’s every night…lol Wish him the best though…
