Funny, looking back at this, how most Raptor fans were against it from the start. It would be interesting to see a franchise run by fan vote. True, sometimes fan consensus is wrong and the GMs are right, but how many times have we seen a GM make a boneheaded move that the fan-base could see was wrong from the start.

I wonder if the fans would actually do much worse than an average GM.

major fuck up. Turkoglu is tthe exact same player as bargnani, just slower, and cant rebound either. Its bad enough They have andrea, shoulda just added a decent pg to back up or even start cause i have a feeling this is as good as calderon will ever get…and it aint good enough.

It makes the Raps better and their offense should improve signigicantly. Finally someone they can give the ball to in the dying minutes. My only worry is the Raps lack of players with any type of defensive conscience and (of course) rebounding.

They still need some depth on the wings. Dahntay Jones would actually be a good pickup.

lol @ raptor fans hatin on this deal. Realize that free agents don’t come to the T Dot. So when one actually does sign, try to appreciate that the front office is tryin to make changes instead of sittin around with money burnin a hole in your pockets. Hedo was the top free agent and his game ain’t dependent on athleticism so he’ll be effective for the length of the contract.

Apart from Kobeef, Spirow, and Gee, the rest of you are jackasses. That’s a startin five of Calderon, Derozan(or Delfino), Hedo, Bosh and Bargnani. That’s top 4 out east. So called Raps fans, please give your heads a shake. You get Hedo and you bitchin cus you losin out on “Useless without Nash” Marion? straight comedy…

Hey Raptor fans good luck with Hedo, I wasn’t too sure why we wanted him anyway when we have 11 small forwards on the Blazers anyway. But history shows, the Raps will stay below the level of true ballers since they seem to get rid/or loose the top notch players (ie Vince and TMAC). Bosh will be next, and you will have an all Euro team. Lot of krazy shots and L’s in the coming future…

Now raps should target parker and another young wing. . .perhaps take a risk on a gerald green who will be hungary to prove himself and will come cheap. . .

Anyone who thinks the Raptors should have signed Marion instead of Hedo is on crack. Marion was nice when he was super athletic but those days are gone and so is his game.

Hedo is a good fit in Toronto because he gives them a second ballhandler and playmaker.

Next move for Colangelo is trading Bosh.
