We Reminisce: Stephon Marbury, Basketball Player
Forget a marathon — over the weekend, Stephon Marbury put on a one-man Tour de France of craziness that took him well past the point of being seen as just a basketball player anymore. At times funny, at times disturbing, it made it hard to remember why Steph is famous in the first place. Here’s a reminder:

Korver says:
pretty annoying PG, any starting PG in the league can do all these “highlights”, don’t see what’s the buzz with this player, just a regular PG with very average court vison who haven’t ever made win his team on a regular basis …

i could only imagine if Stephon stayed with the T-Wolves along with KG during those yrs instead of being jealous that he was 2nd fiddle to KG

Ashlov says:
Pretty scary that Marbury was drafted by the Bucks, and Brandon Jennings, who exhibits severe symptoms of Starburyitis, was also drafted by them.

First up, i feel ya, i still think Stephon can still be top pg in nba if he wants to.
Not many people still down with STEPHON these days now…
So this is a good one.
By the way, Big Freeze is right, there’s hundreds of highlights are better than this one.

His best days were in Minny. He had the perfect situation and teamed with the perfect teammate for him. And then………………………..pppprrffffffft.

Dagomar says:
Why are these all Knicks highlights? And yeah his crossover was unreal. Definitely one of the most talented points in the league during his prime. He has nothing to blame but his own attitude . . . being selfish is the worst quality for a point.

Promoman says:
Marbury had/has the tools to back up being the “best point guard in the NBA” claim, but his bad attitude trumps the talent.

Marbury could have always been the premier PG in the league. He needs a championship to validate his career at this point.

“CROSSOVER is unreal”?? lmao you gotta be kidding. Basic move anybody does, steph is just not that good of a player.
I laughed when a gm signed this kid to a humongo contract thinking he’s a franchise player. Never, i mean never, would i think your franchise player would be steph.
-That would equal a ton of losing seasons and no hope of any playoffs. HILARIOUS
