Houston, You want Marcin Gortat? Email Him.
I’m not 100% sure what to think of this. Realizing that life without Yao is a very real possibility, the Rockets are in the hot pursuit of Marcin Gortat. How badly do they want him? They’ve set up an email address where fans can write in and tell Marcin him exactly why he should sign with the Rockets. I wonder if Ron Artest is going to get the same treatment. as you heard Houston just lost its franchise player, and we need someone who is a pure center and young, fortunately we found you, we are really hoping to add you to our rockets team and hope you can help us out along the way to make another playoff run. your going to start in the beginning of the season due to yao’s injury so that will put some experience in your hands, and when yao comes, you may get less minutes, but so will yao. if we get you, yao will get the rest we have been trying to give him, and we will hopefully be on our way to another great playoff run. i would just like to say that we are hoping to sign you in houston and are looking forward to seeing you in clutch city.

Gortat should come to the Hawks. The guy is decent and would be an upgrade over Zaza. A better move for him than Houston. If he does well, J-Smoove gets traded for a nice new piece, and Gortat is starting center with Horford at pf. Hawks tnen contend in the east, believe it or not.

I’d rather have Frye for cheap than overpay for Gortat. I think Gortat is overrated and is better as a backup than a starter. Sign Frye for cheap and save money to get a REAL starting center, if Yao still doesnt make it back, in 10/11.

right Frye might just need a new beginning. Like you said, how do you fall off that fast? A new start could help him regain what he “lost”. And if it doesnt, it doesnt break the bank and u can still sign Bosh or resign Yao.

Fuck the Spurs, they’re more of a waste of time than watching grass grow. Not only is Houston ready to show you the money, but you get to be “the man” and when Yao comes back you’d still get quality minutes. To add, Houston have more loyal and classy fans, not like those fair weather freaks in San Antonio.
