Tracy McGrady: “I Should Have Sat My Ass Down”
Think what you will, but Tracy McGrady is doing everything he can to be the player that he once was. Working extensively with Tim Grover at the ATTACK Center in Chicago, watch McGrady putting in work to recover from micro-fracture knee surgery (and bad decisions last year) as he tries to rejoin the NBA elite.

man…i never noticed but tmac looks like will smith from the pursuit of happiness
But yeah…I sincerely hope he comes back strong…I’m afraid that hes done though, and even if he does come back, he wont be the same. Theres nothing like the thoughts that go through your mind while your driving to the basket after a comeback from a major surgery.

maybe its better if he retires. hearing about all those surgeries, ” repairing his whole left side”… i mean, is it really worth it to not being able to move for the rest of your life after your basketball career is over?
we all bball is not really healthy on that level, but not to this extent.

Done. Game over. The end.
From now on he will simply be known as “Tracy McGrady’s expiring contract”. A little too late to finally dedicate yourself to the sport you claim to love. MJ put in work, Kobe put in work, McGrady got by on his athletic abilities until they deserted him. Enjoy the big wad of money you made, but wave goodbye to basketball at an elite level.

Dave Chappell once said about President Clinton: “You know you a powerful m^thaf^cka when someone can get famous for sucking your d!ck”
Same could be said for Michael Jordan. Tim Grover was hired by MJ during his days in Chicago (I believe the 2nd half of his career) to train him. MJ then got stronger and attributed much of his success to being in better shape. Then Tim Grover’s name makes it big. Now this cat is getting paid millions to train the best players in the NBA not to mention a lot of the rookies. Has his own gym (used to be HOOPS the gym, may now be the A.T.T.A.C.K. gym) and is regarded as the NBA’s best trainer. Hey Dime (specifically Austin Burton) how many of those other G.O.A.TS you had listed could say the same thing? There is a reason why everyone wants to be like Mike

Oh and as far as TMAC working out…it’s about damn time. This dude had to be the most out-of-shape skinny guy i’ve ever seen. He still has the skill, and if he can bring back the hops/quickness/speed then he could be top 10 easily in the NBA. Too bad he is only doing this so he can sneak in another couple $20mill seasons before he retires. Now way will he keep this up. Maybe he should retire and go pitch in the minor leagues. I read he has a 90mph fastball.

@17 I noticed this as well. But he was getting up on his drives. At this point in the game, and considering its practice, I wouldn’t expect tons of lift on a jumpshot. Especially with no one in his face.

Yea def no lift on the jumpers. That stood out right away. Couldnt tell if that was just t-mac being the same ol casual t-mac or if it means something else

@20 and @21:
I strongly agree with you guys. Those T-MAC haters out there can’t just accept the fact that Mac will destroy their teams once he comes back healthy and in good shape. Let’s also not forget that there are players who went from major surgeries that almost ended their career, but still able to make a better impact upon coming back. They’re just living to the scene when t-mac had a lot of injuries and thought that he’s done. Watch out til next season. TMAC fan right here.

Are you queer? "Probably" says:
I’m a huge T-Mac fan but if it wasn’t for his lazy eyes he could still be in the elite class with Kobe,Bron and Wade. It’s clear he never works out like Kobe Bron or Wade look at Kobe then look at T-Mac,Kobe is built like an elite athlete,T-Mac is just gifted but there’s nothing else.He got by purely on talent and his athletic gifts but never worked on his physique, believe me weight training can do miracles for NBA players and that’s what T-Mac was missing, getting into the gym and working on strength or even improving his gifts even further or at least his durability.
September 14th, 2009 at 9:57 am
Buck says:
Look at kobe and look at tmac? what does that mean? his build is no different. if anybody remember tracy in the toronto days you remember him being very skinny when he first came into the league. his second season there he got leaner and added more weight. stop talking about things you dont understand. kg been skinny his whole career but he’s a beast. tmac just doesnt have the strongest body for his skills. he single-handledly carried orlando for 4 seasons. does anyone know how damn difficult that is for 82 games. haters please. you’re the ones sitting on the couch with playstations 3 and 360 and probably cant win a game of 21 much less talk about nba players. JUST STOP!!!!!
