Tracy McGrady’s Documentary: 3 Points
We told you earlier this summer about Tracy McGrady changing to No. 3 to promote his documentary, 3 Points, which he filmed in 2007. Below you can watch the whole thing as T-Mac travels to Africa after hearing about the massive challenges children from Darfur face in the refugee camps in Chad.

It’s nice to see someone trying to make a difference. We need to stop idolizing celebrities for what they do on tv and start asking them to do more for those less fortunate.

It was a good video. It is good to see athletes recognize how fortunate they are and try and do some good. I wish some of the other higher up players like LeBron and Kobe wouldnt worry so much about their marketability if they say one word on these issues.

While it is great to see TMac try to make a difference and promote with his number change……isnt that just a money maker for those buying his jersey, especially people who have the #1 jersey already?

Fuck Hulu
Lebron DOES travel the world but just to sell stuff – Didn’t LeBron refuse to sign the open letter to China about their humen rights record? Still waiting to hear him on that…
Still at least he’s like Mike in one way
Kobe on the other hand did speak out against China
Kobe Bryant is taking a stand

Kobe and LeBron were around the world for Nike events. It’s a little different.

@ Aron
Kobe and LeBron’s Nike tour are to promote the product itself and themselves. TMAC’s charity work is entirely different as you think.

I will have to watch this at home. There’s a reason why T-Mac (was) is my favorite player. Finally an athlete that ‘gets it’ and knows there is more to life than basketball.
