Carmelo Anthony Dunks On Paul Millsap
There’s no other way to describe Melo’s juggernaut hammer to the face of an extended Paul Millsap than how our Aron Phillips’ twitter feed read 20 seconds after the fact: “Carmelo just ripped out Millsap’s heart!!!” I felt like I was watching the Temple of Doom or something. Love me some mile high skywalking.

Haha. The craziest thing is that the guy who posted this on YouTube created an account name of “carmelodunksonmilsap”. Is he predicting more than one video in this stream?

Ripped out his heart? I think Millsap will probably survive when the smoke clears. Fans care far more about this sort of thing than players do.

This Carmelo is a league MVP candidate. He was all over the floor and competing with a fire we rarely see. I don’t expect for him to get up for every game in an 82 game season, but if he carries this into the playoffs Denver will be back better at a #2 seed.
I think even in the lost to the Lakers last year Melo got a taste of what it felt like to look down on best player in the world and know “I can beat you”…Melo was playing bully ball, then fell off the planet. He seems primed to take that next step this year. Denver is a very strong team. They probably could use a big man that can stretch the D (Novak can flourish with this type of team)…

Kudabeen says:
You say joke, but watch it catch momentum. He seems to be focused and that is all he ever lacked. Always had the talent, but the drive was so so. In Portland he came right back with that same focus. He was bullying people on the block. It is very few good players that can match up with him physically on both ends…
LeBron
Granger
Joe Johnson
Artest
The few that come to mind off top that I can think of that can make Melo work on both ends to get his.
