Clip Of The Day: “Don’t Look A Gift Horse In The Mouth”
This video may not be new, but it is one of the most underrated pieces of web content out there. This puppy has been stuck in the breakdown lane of the information superhighway for way too long, and only you can change the flat and get her motoring again.
It’s great on so many levels that attempting to point them out would be an insult to your comedic IQ. But what I will do is challenge you to identify what exactly makes this cinematic masterpiece so great. The comment with the most correct answers will win a highly coveted prize in the Dime office, along with the respect and friendship (not guaranteed) of me…a man you will most certainly never meet.

He is pointing to the tail and teeth like they are 2 inches apart…It is obvious that he is looking directly at the picture, how does he not know that it is not a horse..

3. The guy is on LSD, pointing out bushy teeth, mane, etc when he’s pointing at a moth.
4. His hand motions while he thinks it is a horse, almost like he is jerking off said horse.
5. He says it’s a horse with so much conviction that I nearly thought it was a horse.
6. He sounds almost like the Shamwow guy.
7. He has a rolex looking watch, that is obviously a very very cheap wannabe.
8. shophometv.com isn’t even a website that works (maybe it’s old).
9. His shirt sleeves are 3 inches too short.
10. It took his producer almost 20 seconds to let him know that he’s wrong (and give him wrong answer).
11. He said lets print it out, and the proceeds to pull out a whiteboard of the wrong thing that is like 15x bigger than a standard paper.
12. He’s obviously reading a teleprompter, but seems too stupid to be able to read.

I say because it’s similar to what happened to Will Ferral on that movie Ron Burgandy. This guy got caught slippin because he was just going by what the teleprompter said. This guys do these things all day and it probably just becomes reflex after a while.

It seems everyone is close, but no cigar.
The funniest thing about this video is, and I quote, “[pause]…actually it may in fact be a moth.”
Basically, after this schmuck realizes that he screwed up not once, but twice, his confidence is so shot that he leaves the door open in case he figures out that he is wrong yet again. This is apparant by him saying “actually it may in fact be a moth,” instead of simply “actually it’s a moth.”
