Clip Of The Day: Tyler Idowu Goes Off The Backboard and Over A Defender

The dirtiest clip of the day comes out of the Bay Area. Tyler Idowu, a senior from Rodriguez High School in Fairfield, CA, climbled over this unsuspecting defender’s back to bang home this off-the-backboard oop at the Rivals Future 150 Camp over the summer. That poor, poor defender didn’t even know he was on the tracks when the train came through. Gotta love the Idowu’s teammates reaction to the dunk.

    eh that reaction was lame.

  2. control says:

I’m surprised the ‘fans’ there didn’t all swarm onto the court while his teammates ran around like clowns. At least the guy doing the dunk got the primal scream and muscle flex right…

    Not impressed.

When did an over-the-back foul become something to celebrate?

I’ll take a perfectly executed back-door cut highlight over this nonsense any day.

  4. That's whats up says:

I did like the kid turning to the camera and saying “ohhhh Shit !!!”

but seriously, isn’t that a foul?

Naw that kid got put in a body bag, he should have never jumped, didn’t he see it was a set up!

  6. IGP says:

I wasn’t even able to do that shit in NBA Live when I was a senior in high school, let alone over some poor, unsuspecting defender.

  7. KnicksFan84 says:

LOL, I wonder what he gonna do when he is the one getting dunked on! LAME

  8. momo says:

nice slam…but the pitch of his voice in the scream just wasnt right…the scream really makes or breaks the dunk…if your not gonna get it right then at least scream WHILE your slamming the ball…shoot

  9. WetNurse says:

What an ape. The poor kid’s gonna be a knucklehead like Josh Smith or KG when he grows up. Screaming after every lay-up/ pass/ turn-over like George of the jungle.

He probably has a better chance trying out for a 300 sequel.

    Nonetheless, nice put back.

  10. Jay says:

^^ Yeah terrible fate if he ends up like KG… poor bastard
