Season Cancelled: Duke Basketball
While normally the highlights from Midnight Madness are simply dunk contests and cameos from former players, the guys at Duke (with help from the school’s improv department) took it to a whole new level. Check out the video starring Jon Scheyer, Kyle Singler, Nolan Smith and the rest of the guys as they find other jobs on campus after the season was canceled because it was “unfair to the other teams.” Hilarious!

While that video may turn out to be funny if i ever watch it, I can assure you, this one is not.
This video, apparently played at their madness (i hope not) is disturbing and a good representation of why duke sucks.

I live in MD where Duke is hated but give me a break. These guys are college kids having fun with the improve department at the school. In this day and age where kids are getting paid by boosters, missing classes, committing academic fraud, and doing all kinds of other cruddy s@%*, they actually took the time out of their day and helped out another part of the school by making fun of themselves. Those trashing them for it and not praising them for it really just don’t get it. I hate the team b/c thats my duty as a fan but their kids are always good kids and play the game the right way. Stop hating on them to the point that you can’t appreciate them. Pretty soon programs like this may be a thing of the past. All college is now is AAU ball with a school name on the jersey. By reading some of your comments I can see why!

I actually find the Seth Curry “red-shirt” scene to be quite funny. I am not a Duke fan, but agree with Jason. They are just having fun, they know just as well as everyone on this site that Final Four isn’t in this team’s future.
