Keep an eye on the Ellis situation in Oakland. Vlad’s value could depend on who the Warriors get back in exchange, if they end up dealing him.

@the truth: Curry, hands down. Ellis looks almost certain to leave town soon and with S-Jack gone, Curry’s value has already risen.

@John X: Yes, eventually, as in late January at the earliest. He was dinged up during the preseason and his knee injury doesn’t bode well for his long-term health, so I have my doubts about his ruggedness. When he’s healthy, there’s no reason to think he won’t put up solid numbers. Just hope he gets enough minutes in a crowded Clippers frontcourt.

@D.H.: Durant is worth Butler + Artest, and Westbrook is better than Mayo at this point, though Mayo’s value will rise shortly.

@BrickLayer: I’d drop Barbosa, Rush and McGrady for all three of those players.

Rush is the toughest to drop of those three, so it’d be understandable if you wanted to hold onto him. T-Mac will be a headache down the line and TP is a much better player to own.

@hb in az: Well, injuries are part of the reason why your team is suffering, which isn’t much fun. Your PG spot should be solid once Harris comes back and Maggette should be consistently productive now.

I’d look to shore up your PF/C spots. I’d package Tim Duncan and either Brooks or Williams for an upgrade at the PF spot, and maybe package Noah or Okafor with another player to upgrade the C spot.

Chandler doesn’t look ready to break through the ceiling this season, so trade him away after his next solid game.

If you’re struggling, it’ll be tough to wait on Nelson and Griffin, so look to trade one of them or both away in the near future if you’re willing to sell low on them.
