Heat fans love UD, he’s in the same “all-heart” category as Zo. While the Heat are focused on big names for 2010, lots of Heat fans are hoping that they find a way to hang on to UD.

I personally think he’ll be back in the starting lineup sooner than later.

One of the only undersized players i would want on my team..

Alongside Alonzo he picked up a lot of slack in that 06 Finals.. He hit some big FT’s and as much as Dwade torched the Mavs, Haslem kept Dirk in check for the latter part of that series..

I think guy played center, not power forward for Gators–and did a damn good job. (Outplayed Elton Brand, when Florida beat a loaded Duke team in the NCAA tourney on way to final 4.) His total reformation of his body was incredible. When you are used to carrying that bulk, it sure helps your vertical when you lose it. Like a reverse Shawn Kemp scenario.

I remember seeing Haslem play in H.S. Christmas tourney his senior yr. Steve Blake played on his same Miami H.S. team (as junior, I believe). Some mom in stands told me to check out Blake’s game; I thought, yeah sure. Can’t believe guy ended up point guard for championship Terps team and has had best NBA career of that Md bunch.

Have always respected Haslem’s game and hustle. Dude is one of those guys that does not mind getting his hands dirty. Big loss for the Heat if they somehow lose him after this season.
