mayweather is a bitch. thats why many people do not respect him. Unlike him, manny pacquiao and miguel cotto fight anyone, it doesnt matter, if you want to be the best you have to beat the best. If mayweather doesnt want to fight miguel cotto nor manny pacquiao nor mosley means that mayweather knows he cant beat them, therefore he aint the best.

@LakeShow84 — Why shouldn’t fighters have a say in who they fight? It’s not like the NFL or NBA when you have schedule-makers; individual sports always have some element of choice. Golfers and tennis players can choose which tournaments they enter, track athletes can choose which meets they enter, etc. I’m not totally against the idea of mandatories in boxing, but this is a dangerous sport. Choosing the wrong fight could lead to serious injury or death, and I don’t think you should make a guy fight somebody who’s a horrible matchup for him. I’ve read about how Floyd Patterson’s camp tried to keep him away from Sonny Liston as long as possible because they knew what would happen if they fought; and Liston knocked him silly when they finally fought.

Mayweather would destroy Pacman; Pacman is just too small and that’s the only fight Mayweather fights. Its why Mayweather is such a bore, he should have fought Mosley already instead he picks and chooses his fights that give him a 30lb weight advantage. Mayweather only picks fights he knows he can win because his undefeated record is his only selling point since he is an atrociously boring boxer

manny pacquaio is good, but cotto is bigger, stronger, and is actually fast. It is going to be close but cotto is going to win, no doubt, he aint a declining fighter like de la hoya and he aint overrated like many pacquiao. GO COTTO

WHEN pacman beats cotto, motor mouth mayweather will still not fight him. motor mouth is constantly make up excuses, putting shit off on pacman, and all that but in teh end manny never said no. motormouth is constantly saying shit like “he better drop that manager before he thinks hes gonna fight me” and yet he has never once said “i will fight him”. he is gonna go down as the best P4P fighter who never faught the best P4P fighers. i mean when was the last time he faced anyone really “good”?

You need to go old school when it comes to bad blood with Puerto Ricans beating Filipinos in boxing. The GOAT Filipino boxer, Flash Elorde (until Pacman came along) was beaten by Puerto Ricans Carlos Ortiz and Frankie Narvaez in the 60’s.

Although recently, it was the other way around, Filipino Marvin Sonsona mopped up then champion Carita Lopez of Puerto Rico to win the WBO world super flyweight crown. PR’s Ivan Calderon and Pinoy Rodel Mayol fought twice but have no idea what happened there.

Don’t know about the other matches, but the Philippines and Puerto Rico have definitely been quietly building a rivalry the past few years, and is now highlighted by the Pacman-Cotto match.
