Time and situation people, he had been in foul trouble and did the smart thing, let the player go, concede the basket, and play on. If he had gone for the block, he would have been called for a foul and would not have been able to impose his will at the end of the game.

For all of you dogging Oden for not chellenging the dunk, please go on eBay and see if you can find a basketball IQ to bid on, you need one

Don’t forget Rudy Gay baseline on Thorton pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.. Iggy might have been worse. Of a slow step he elevated for no reason. Okay RJ back to the Arizona/Nets days. You should still be hooping. You’re not that old and I believe you had an ankle injury. Look at Grant Hill.

There was definitely some contact (Oden light push to the body, Jefferson light five fingers to the face) but I see why some are hesitant to label this an all-out baptism. However, there’s no doubt this is truly a sick, fierce dunk.

I happened to be walking by a Buffalo Wild Wings which was showing the game right when this play happened. There was a big group of people at a table between us and the TV, and they thought my girl and I were gawking, laughing and pointing at them. Almost started something…

I gotta go with Rare Air, I didn’t know RJ still had that in him. Wow.

What should Oden have done:

A. Take it like he took it and look like a punk.
B. Jump & contest & possibly look like a bigger dummy.
C. Run away from the play and just be a coward.
D. Foul RJ super hard so he will never test him again.
