Hibbert’s the real deal folks. Let’s not forget that he’s just four games into his second season, so while he’s already one of league’s most skilled centers, he’s likely not even close to peaking. He’s got plenty of potential left in that massive 7’2″, 278 lb. frame, and knowing his work ethic and intelligence, he’ll almost certainly live up to it.

There are multiple All-Star games in Roy Hibbert’s future.

No doubt a starter and I wish Houston could have picked him up as a fill in till Yao gets back and then he would have been a sufficient back up! Oh well.

Big Boy Roy! Not that he’s an All-Star or anything, but I still can say “I told you so” to all the guys in the office who said he’d never be an NBA player and would be a bum at best. I think he’ll be a solid starter.

That ain’t All Star numbers but that is making noise. I always thought he would be nice coming out of G-Town too. Not to mention he still has room to improve so he should do well for the next 4 or 6 years.

DIME are you ever going to do a segment when the players answer questions from the readers again? That was real cool.

I thought he’d be good and thought people were nuts when they said he’d be a bust (he’s 7’2″ and was a solid player in the Big East at GTown.) Beast may be pushing it, but a double double w/ 2 blocks per is a damn good line

I’m not sure if Hibbert is doing well because he is the only option the Pacers have at the 5 but he has certainly turned out better than I imagined.

Coming into the draft he seemed like a bust waiting to happen.

He kind of is a beast. He’s putting up solid per-minute numbers at a very young age. He’s a keeper.

good stuff gerald. his trajectory was similar at georgetown. the big stiff could hardly run as a freshman and improved immeasurably every year. he’s a good kid too. if he progresses w/in the next few years, he could make a very nice career for himself.
