Breaking News: Brandon Jennings Fined For Twitter Violation

For as great as Twitter has been connecting players with their fans, it has also caused some NBA guys to lighten their wallet. Stu Jackson, the NBA Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations, announced today that Brandon Jennings (a.k.a. @YUNGBUCK3) has been fined $7,500 for posting a message on his Twitter account immediately following the Bucks’ victory over the Blazers in Milwaukee on Saturday, Dec. 12.
After the game, at 11:39 PM, Jennings posted: Back to 500. Yess!!! “500″ means where doing good. Way to Play Hard Guys.
Maybe it’s just me, but not sure that was worth $7,500.
What do you think?

I think it was 30 min before the game until after the post-game presser, but that’s straight up BS. During the games (and pregame stuff when you better be paying attention to the gameplan, not how many followers you have) I can see, but after that ish is over? Come the hell on. And I hate Twitter, but Jesus, let’s not let these guys have fun and connect with the fans and give them access. Friggin old people don’t understand crap. Pretty sure Stu Jackson thinks Twitter’s a sex toy…

The college jokes are too funny guys. Why is this breaking news???? Is there a requirement on how to tie your shoelaces in the league. Are rap music on Ipods permitted. Soon you won’t be able to shake a defender or dunk. Then maybe a bleaching requirement next. For pete sake. Worry about real problems. I’m almost at the point of extinction. Soon all the fans you’ll have left will know nothing about the game or care too see it grow. You will drain the league for so much money that it will probably come close to extinction. NBA LOCKOUT ARE YOU KIDDING ME. EXPANDING THE LEAGUE OVERSEAS. MORE TEAMS. WHEN THEY’RE ONLY 6 GOOD MAYBE 2 OR 3 GREAT TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE. ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR RABBIT?????
WHO’S ALLOWING THIS?????
What is the punishment for cheating for your star players. Better yet how about the direction of the league. If it weren’t for the crop of new players this yr I would have never signed up for league pass. I wouldn’t go to half the N.B.A. games now a days for free courtside. Not that many good players left. When Shaq,A.I.,Kidd,Duncan, and some of our many greats go. Who’s going to fill that void. The illusion that today’s game is anywhere near it’s peak yrs are nothing but misleading. FINE THAT. Stu Jackson I don’t remember you being that good of a player yourself man. Did you really deserve to be in the league. Is someone making you hand these fines down man. WWF part 2 staring the N.B.A. N.B.A. Jams was realer than the league today.

So… why did Jennings get fined again? for grammatical errors? his team just won and he gets buckets, what more you want from him? Stu should ceremonially disembowel himself for these bogus fines, the League is starting to act more n more like cops on the road at the end of the month, throwing tickets left n right to meet the quota n pump the coffers. im out like Stu, if he heeds my request

Just for your information, folks, nearly everyone here who posted comments about Brandon’s “lack” of spelling skills made some spelling errors yourselves.
Rizwan, it’s “Someone should teach Brandon Jennings THE basics of English”, not “basics”. And in my part of the world you spell “spelled” “spelled”, not “spelt”. My spell checker agrees with me, too, since when I type “spelt” I get a red line underneath it. Did you not see it on your computer screen?
Karizmatic, you failed to capitalize “college” in post # 15 (always capitalize the first word of any sentence, you know), and there should be a comma after “course”.
Jarmes P: “He” isn’t spelled with two l’s. And “he’s a rich” what? Guy? Why not say that? Oh, and there are too many spaces between “spell” and “he’s”.
E$: Too many periods after the end of your first sentence, you left out the comma after “Role”, “it’s” shouldn’t be capitalized, “you” isn’t spelled “u” in normal everyday conversation, and you forgot the period at the end of your last sentence. Oh, and it’s “types”, not “type”.
kevin k: It should be “Jennings IS a stud in the league, no doubt, but he needs to thank James Naismith that there is AN NBA because this fool will be nothing but a bum without one.” You also forgot to capitalize “seriously”, and “that’s”, plus you forgot to put a period at the end of your last sentence.
magicfaninTN: The first word in your first sentence should be capitalized, and there should be a question mark after “college”.
thenatural: “give” and “remember” should be capitalized.
Duckythetrush: You left out the punctuation marks in “couldn’t” and “that’s”. You also failed to capitalize “But” and you shouldn’t have capitalized “guaranteed money”. Plus, you left out the comma after “money”.
My point is, if you’re going to criticize someone else’s grammar, make sure your own is flawless.
