D-Wade, Dwight and Barkley: Back Together Again
Whether eating still-breathing sushi at Yao Ming‘s taunting behest, or sharing some misinterpreted convo over a championship ring, Dwyane Wade and Charles Barkley have been one of this decade’s best athlete comedy teams.
Last year, Wade and Barkley added Dwight Howard to the mix of their popular T-Mobile ads — the one where Barkley wrecks Digi-Dwight’s leg on a video game.
The Wade-Barkley-Howard trio is back, in a series of spots for the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. The first, featuring Wade and Barkley, debuts during halftime of tonight’s Heat/Magic game on TNT. Dwight’s ad debuts on Christmas Day during the Magic/Celtics game on ABC. Our friends over at T-Mobile sent us an early copy of the first clip:

I’m a big fan of both D-Wade and Chuck, but this commercial is terrible. Was it supposed to be funny? It was more like those two awkwardly flirting w/ each other.
