Rodney Stuckey Drops Allen Iverson

Twelve years after Allen Iverson crossed-up Michael Jordan, Rodney Stuckey returned the favor. During Wednesday night’s game between the Sixers and Pistons, Stuckey not only had 27 points and 8 assists on A.I., but he also severely crossed-over the newly signed Sixer.

holy crap….look how far ai’s dropped off. jeez….watching that made me really depressed

  2. sunni says:

ai’s just out of shape, and he admits it…hopefully he can get back into shape and return the favor

  3. Roman says:

I dont care how out of shape you are, that is the worst crossover or should I say effect from a crossover i’ve ever seen. Shook his whole body to the floor. Bam!!!!!!!

  4. bullet380 says:

AI is my boy and all, but he got sat the F*%$ down! That’s how you drop bammas off.

  5. Gunner J. Matthews says:

    Damn……..
    That hurt me

  6. Ducky The Truth says:

    BROKE ANKLES!!!!

There was alot of hurt feelings and emotions on that crossover and on his HOME COURT….

  7. Me says:

The other angle espn showed made it look like stuckey pushed off..

  8. POPPI GEE says:

That was real ugly. Look like a sniper shot A.I. he dropped so hard.

Stuckey should call it “The Sniper” lol.

    wow!

  9. Nigel says:

When I was watching this live, I though Stuckey pushed him. But now I can see he clearly didn’t. Man, it must suck for AI to finally be on the other end of one of those.

  10. QQ says:

Seeing the title of the vid, this made me think how Dime’s gonna defend AI again for being out of shape thats why he was crossed.

But after watching the vid, I will defend AI for being owned like that. He’s out if shape, he’s narcoleptic, he’s Smush Parker in an AI suit, WHATEVER IS NEEDED TO DEFEND AI. Cause damn, being owned like that, there must be a certain reason. That just fucking hurts.

Best ankle breaker ownage in years.

  11. NTstateOFmind says:

    LOL! dude got dropped

  12. Mikey F Baby says:

haters unite. AI finally got crossed!! and he did push off, surprisingly the angle that shows it wasn’t posted.hmmmm

  13. BiG ShoT BoB says:

    karma’s a…..

  14. waveforce says:

he went between his legs it was not a crossover

  15. Bill says:

Going between the legs is a crossover dipshit.
Crossing from one hand to another.

  16. dc says:

AI didn’t get crossed, that was just Stuckey with his huge upper body strength that took AI down. If you watch it from another angle you could see it

  17. oww says:

    ^??????????????????

  18. ThaKing253 says:

    Man That Hurt Me.
Thass All I Got To Say

  19. danocasa says:

I saw this on espn last night and they showed the angle from the opposite baseline and you could see that stuckey’s and iverson’s bodies had contact and since stuckey is so much bigger Iverson flew to the ground. I mean come on guys, if you cross someone they dont fall to the ground like they got punched in the face. You could hear Iverson’s body hit the ground. It’s like Iverson is a fifth grader.

  20. Sole2Sole says:

AI should call Kobe for some ankle insurance…

  21. cesar says:

    WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  22. D.H. says:

Stuckey pushed off. I’m no huge AI fan, but it was clearly a push. All of you were saying the other day that dude got his foot stepped on when he went down. Bullshit to now call AI for falling when he was clearly pushed.

  23. Tim says:

Stuckey just wanted him to know how thankful he was for stalling his development for the whole year… Best thing I’ve seen. Stuckey looks like he’s finally being aggressive offensively, and not just dribbling at the top of the key the whole time. When Rip and Prince come back, team will surprise some ppl…Maybe they can make a run at Bosh before he just walks from Toronto…

  24. King says:

The step back was good buT he pushed off

  25. sans says:

man a minor push off aint gonna put someone on their back…ill…

  26. sans says:

he pushed off while crossing over–that’s even more impressive

  27. realtalk says:

AI got crossed but y’all don’t know what ankle breaking means. Yeah there was a push-off, but a minor infraction so that’s not the point.
It was a nice, effective crossover by Stuckey, but AI’s ankles didn’t break. He wasn’t caught trying to stop/shift direction. THAT’S why your ankles are broken. He just fell over towards the SAME direction he was already going. Whether there was a slight push off or he tripped himself. But regardless, just thought I’d set you guys straight.

  28. jksonics says:

I hope Kobe had spoken to AI about ankle insurance.

  29. TJ says:

Nice move. But clearly a push off, c’mon now.

  30. kaka says:

    1) He pushed off, if you look at it from a different angle.

    2) It was not a crossover.

  31. QQ says:

    @ 27:

What the fuck are you, the ankle breaker police?

  32. Singharaj says:

Stuckey SUPERMANNED that ho! Man that was disgusting.

  33. Bron42 aka Had Springs before Slamball says:

If you just watch the other angle you see stucky pushed off and iverson tried to sell the charge…Wasn’t even a cross and to compare it to iverson crossing jordan? dime your losin it.

@QQ, he was obviously setting us straight lol

  34. LakeShow84 says:

yeah that wasnt neccessarily getting crossed up..

    LMAO @ 27 tho..

    rrriiiiigggggghhhhhtttttttt..

  35. ejay says:

wow that was nice…. new class officially in…
i had to watch it like 10 times it was so nice

  36. Havana says:

@27,33 by your definition 27 Jordan didn’t get crossed over, he simply reached at the wrong time. Although I agree with you that the Jordan crossover is one of those extremely overrated nba highlights that sits in peoples consciousness for a long time because the person who performed it was a NBA “star”. I see second tier guards who are in the league mostly because of their handle pull off better crosses than the ai on jordan cross all the time. Put it this way Id much rather have the move that stuckey just did to ai in this vid in my arsenal than ais simple front of body cross that he got jordan wit. Overall verdict: this crossover was ill :-)

  37. gl says:

damn this is like when roy jones got knocked out the first time.

  38. realtalk says:

@36 — No, buddy. Read the post. What do you think Ankle breaking means? Some arbitrary term that’s automatically relevant when someone executes a crossover on you?

I know it’s crazy, but ANKLE breaking has to do with the ANKLE. Just because you fall over trying to sell a charge and then offensive player steps back, doesn’t mean your ankles are broken. Think about it.

  39. Tim says:

Either way Iverson got owned right there…we can all admit that.

  40. Tim says:

WOW… you think Iverson might of had DEJA VU on that move…check this out…ignore the ads in between.

  41. Tim says:

this one doens’t have the ad in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0WflOAFrt4

  42. Knicksfan84 says:

Wow, I’m so sad about A.I. Sigh, my generation’s heroes are falling down 1 by 1.

  43. Razzle says:

    AI got crossed. Period.

  44. johnny says:

Stuckey’s right arm is completely innocent. We see it perfectly. His left arm would be faster than a Nascar if he pushed off.

My guess is Stuckey just made a nice move combined with Iverson forgetting how to play.

  45. Pet Society Help says:

I’d give it a half crossover half push, no way iverson lands that hard on a crossover alone.

  46. jimmy says:

ai didn’t fall from the cross, stuckey hit him….when he was going to his right, upon contact rodney pulled to the left, so it looked like ai got crossed…

    fxxking lame…

ai is too slight at the moment…..also refs aren’t giving him anything….which is crazy, considering the amount of love kobe gets…..

  47. The Prodigy says:

What´s wrong with your eyes man? c´mon thats a pushed. I aint no AI fan but lets be realistic here… Its clearly a push.

@35 ejay.. yes new breeds are officially in but im 100% quite certain that Stuckey is no part of it…

  48. DET313 says:

    @47

You’re full of shit. Stuckey MAGICALLY pushed off while switching the ball from one hand to the other.

    Get some fucking glasses, hater.

  49. The Prodigy says:

    @48

Do some research man before you post your comment… you ignorant.. Go check some videos on youtube with a better angle.. Its clearly a pushed off with a little flop from AI..

Check some fucking info first before you post, ass kisser.

  50. The Prodigy says:

Stuckey is not and will never be an All Star caliber type of player.. New breeds are in but he aint one of them!

  51. Tboz Sharony says:

    @48

little flop my ass….that was a thud.

you guys need to get off iverson’s nuts.

  52. JBO says:

Allen got his ankle’s broken!Funny how he was jumping up and down after doing that to M.J. Unlike MJ,at least Michael didn’t fall. To all the A.I dickriders,Stuckey didn’t push him dumbasses. A.I just got shooked the hell out of and got snipped hahahaha….. It really makes me wonder,if Jordan and A.I were at the same age, could allen even cross him up? If I compare there stats by age,Jordan would destroy him.Nice crossover stuckey, you shook allen out of those reeboks.
