   watching AI’s return to the Sixers tonight… i haven’t been this excited about Sixers bball since like 2002. LOL. shoot, i haven’t actually really paid too much attention to this team for a few years now…

   and after watching most of this game, all the great things about this team come back to me, as well as all the futility…

   the good: Iverson and Iguodala are amazing, and now they have thaddeus young and elton brand. very impressive. the bad: they still leave 3 pt shooters WIDE the eff open. the are streaky as hell still. and two words:

   Samuel Dalembert. this dude is the single. worst. 7ft. basketball. player. ever. EVER. ever. in alllll these years he hasn’t improved ONE BIT! straight stealing money. thief. idiot. damn this guy should have been traded YEEEEAARS ago!

    As much as I hate what he has done these past two seasons, you gotta give it to AI.

    Watching that 2001 Sixers team full of underdogs led by a thug hero reach the Finals… Damn.. That was one of the highlights of my NBA experience.

    Bottom line: He was that epic little cat among Giants, was the MVP, reached the Finals… No one can take that away from him. It’s just sad that some of his decisions led to this, with him not being able to continue that dominance he had in his heyday.

    Good to see iverson back. That could have come off really corny, the whole kissing the floor bit, like really acted. but it didn’t, if i have EVER seen a grown man kiss the floor and really mean it, this was it.

    And i think the philly hardwood wudda kissed back if it could.
