The Lost Tapes: An amazing USC-Oregon finish

I don’t know how this never shows up on any college basketball highlight reels or “Crazy Shot” montages. Maybe it’s because the game-winner probably shouldn’t have counted, but whatever. In this game from 1999, USC is trailing Oregon by five points with 2.8 seconds left. No way they can win the game, right? Wrong. (Check for the Brian Scalabrine cameo.)

I liked young blood near the tunnel trying to get dap, but all he could do was hit them in the chest or wave at the air

    insane !

but i watched it 3 times and the shoot is no good… maybe 0.1 or 0.2 too late (imo)

definitely no good. you cant take a dribble and get a shot off in 0.8secs

not even close to being good

Scalbrain must dye his hair these days, now that he’s the water boy he can’t be donning the ginger kid look. Also what the hell was that inbounder doing, he coulda just rolled the ball on the floor and oregon woulda won. This didn’t get much attention anywqay since it was a battle of celler dwellers that year.

They didn’t start the clock in time and it was home game so the basket counts! You guys are right though, there is no way to get a dribble and shot off with that amount of time left but thats the staffs fault if they didn’t start the clock on time and you gotta give the guy props anyways for draining a shot from so far!
