@tron solo: "the seattle sonics would not have came here if they didn’t think highly of okc" Really -- geez, I wouldn't have thought that Clay Bennett and Aubrey McClendon think highly of OKC, imagaine that.

By the way...The Sonics attendance avg in 06-07 (before the team was sold) was 15,955 [capacity was 17,072]
Our record that year 31-51.

This year OKC attendance avg is 17,924 [capacity is 18,203]...Wow, you are bringing nearly 2000 more people to the game...with a brand new franchise that is the only game in town. OKC's fans are just the best ever!

You stole the team...you want our championship banner as well...we think highly of OKC, so why not.

PS: I am just waiting for the Zombies to include former Sonics on their "best ever" list...kinda like Earl Campbell was the best Tennessee Titan ever....BS!

Ah man, people crack me up. I'm from cali, now living in tulsa, ok and wouldn't change a thing. the seattle sonics would not have came here if they didn't think highly of okc. They saw the potential in the hornets brief stint here. I believe I read that this season so far okc ranks somewhere in the top 5 in attendance, that may have been wrong, but its nearly always sold out and has been several times, and that's only having one primetime game. We are excited about our core and can't wait till we land a solid big man and prove people wrong in the next few years...good article.

Your the biggest idiot in the whole damn world. Jeff green and harden play the same position? your an idiot, do u watch any nba bball? True green might not be the perfect fit for the pf over time but in no way are both their natural positions the sf. And why in the hell would the lakers sign oj? thats the most random thing ive ever heard, wheres your proof? back up the stuff you say dude you got a lot of knowledge to gain before you should ever talk about NBA basketball

Tumbleweeds would be more likely in Dallas, San Antonio, or Phoenix. Applebees is everywhere but I've never been to one.

Just another case of uninformed prejudice

An Intelligent NBA players might consider tumbleweeds and Applebees when choosing not to play for the OKC Zombies.

Long live the Sonics!

the smart ones don't really care about the nite-life of the cities they play in. They do care about the fans showing up to the games and appreciating the team.

OKC has suprised me with how much they like basketball. I would love to play in that enviornment day in and day out.

Its not like players go out daily DURING the season. I'm sure the off-season will be spent in Miami or Cali. Being from Chicago, I wouldn't even spend the summer here. I'd be bouncing around.

One more thing about OKC which many do not consider: The cost of living is very low, comparatively speaking. A max deal in New York is worth far less than a max deal in Oklahoma. Intelligent NBA players might consider that when they consider their options.
