They have defiantly improved this year and will have to fight for the playoff spot. I agree the next 4 upcoming games will be very important for Thunder. The Friday night Memphis should be good.

right now, westbrook is averaging more points, rebounds and assists than d-rose, he's shooting a better percentage from 3-point(31 > 14) and from the free throw line (80 > 75). Rose is shooting better from the field (46 > 39) which is a result of rose getting to the basket more than westbrook. And the Thunder have a much better record than the bulls thus far. I think Rose is still better b/c he's been injured and got off to a slow start this year but proved in the playoffs (when it counts the most) that he can lead a team by doing whatever it takes, including putting the team on his back, which Westbrook hasn't had to do b/c of having durant but they still haven't made the playoffs so there's no telling how westbrook will play if/when they make it. My point being that what these boys did in college and high school doesn't matter now; who's been a pg doesn't matter now. It's about what they're doing and what they've done in the NBA

@chicagorilla, wtf does westbrook's play as a freshman two guard in college have to do with how he's playing now? I mean, does that factor into your decisions when you're determining the best player? "hmmm, this guy didn't impress me his freshman year in college, he must suck.." every time I read something you post, it's filled w/ ridiculous stats and dumb statements as if they are facts..that being said, I would take rose over westbrook but please start making sense when you post something or stfu

finish the season above San Antonio. if that is the 4,5 matchup I'm feeling a 4-1 or a sweep for san antonio. I see them going for the 7-8 spot with phoenix, houston, sacramento and memphis. the only bottom feeder in the west is minnesota and GS is too talented to win fewer then 30 games.

Those are some good points. Truthfully, I've only been able to see mostly stats and highlights of Westbrook. I've seen Rose play about 20 times in person. I think he has a good to great future ahead of him. I just don't know if i see that killer instinct that will make him great.

@1,

Why does every word in your post begin with a capitol letter? is that something they do in Canada or Europe? I've seen that before somewhere...seems like to much extra work while typing.

@Tbest
I would take Rose for the jump shot and the experience as a PG. I watched Westbrook his freshman year in college and he was a mess. He'd cause a turnover, then come down and turn the ball right back over. I think Westbrook has a huge advantage over Rose right now by the name of Kevin Durant. Westbrook still does not take good shots, not because of WHEN he shoots, but the TYPE of shots he takes. D.Rose I've watched since his HS years and he is very clutch (yes i know what happened at memphis) and has always been a PG, not to mention he plays without anyone even close to his talent level, let alone Kevin Durants talent level.
