Anyone who doesn't believe in that Wall probly isn't a daily athlete. The wall is mental, but the mental part isn't about breaking down, cause YOU WILL get tired, and WILL BREAK DOWN, but if you're mentaly tough you'll pull through. I've had days after having soccer practice in the morning and a basketball game at night that I could bareley get out of bed, and those days got worse as the season wore on. Most nights I couldn't even move and would have to change my game just to get by. And I was one of the most fit ones on either team (playing soccer my whole life probly helped). Those who rely pureley on athletic ability are the ones who hit the walls. Those with a game to compensate for those nights don't.

The wall is in the mind? Fucking dumbass

the wall is marathon running without doing the distance work beforehand, most athletes could run 26 miles but do it well takes experience of the race ie you need to have run it before.

Darko,Jordan Hill,Thabeet are just as good if not better than Brendan Haywood and a lot of other centers & bigs in this porous league. It's all on the coach and staff to develop them into something. THe Knicks made a mistake. He did what all the washed greats do when they come here. Come strictly for the money & nothing else. He could care less if he wins or not.

Every rookie hits the wall. It was very noticeable among Mayo, Rose, and Beasley last season. Rookies don't know how to pace themselves for a long season so they come out running and running but about halfway through they run out of steam.

Although he didn't log too many minutes, Jennings practices in Europe were much more frequent and intense than anything a college program is allowed to do. I don't see Jennings hitting "the wall".

I think the Wall is all in the mind. I believe it has alot to do with preparation & diet. For the Nuggs & the Suns I think the transition would be perfect for all the rooks. Also hopefully they have a veteran to show them the ropes of conditioning & all the do's & dont's. That is so valuable & overlooked. Some rookies are unfortunate. You know what I found funny. Brandon Jennings was better than Skiles,Ridnour,& Charlie Bell respectively in their prime. Do they really know what's best for his game? & can they alone take him to the next level. I would hope he worked out with Kenny Anderson,D.Stoudemire,Van Exel,Nash, & Kidd. I also hope Paul & Williams take him under as well. YOu could tell he's a sponge just dying to get better.

In any other system I think Brandon would be averaging tons more. Skiles has pulled back on him a little. Also w/ the return of Redd it's hampered a stellar rookie campaign. He also has to share PG duties with Ridnour. He goes some halfs w/o a fg or even looking at the basket. This team needs you do both everynight. Score & assist. Hopefully he'll learn the distribution of tempo. Score one quarter & look to assist the other. Still take what the defense gives you. Again Brandon Jennings in the Knicks system would put up CP3 & Deron #'s or close & the Knicks would be in playoff contention.

Steve Hess would just kill the rookie who showed weakness around him. That guy is a beast, and those predator dreads he rocks, I wouldn't be surprised if he bleeds neon green blood.
