Third, according to at least Love and Farmar, they only came because of Howland. UCLA was not on the top of either list when recruiting season started. Finally, a lot of credit has to go to Howland with Westbrook, he was not recruited at all coming out of HS and was only asked to join UCLA after Howland learned Farmar was leaving. In just a few years of coaching, Howland has already produced more NBA players (Ariza, Farmar, Afflalo, Westbrook, Love, Hollins, Mbah-a-Moute, Holliday) than either Lavin or Harrick. @ jmg

If you want your PG to pound the ball the entire shot clock and then try to create as it expires, dont recruit PG's that cant handle, drive or shoot (jerime Anderson).
