Carlos Boozer Reminds DeJuan Blair That He’s Still A Rookie

Can you say contract year? There have been moments this season where Carlos Boozer has been looking like an absolute beast. Just last week, we posted this video of him giving Udonis Haslam the business. Last night against the Spurs, Boozer crushed rookie DeJuan Blair’s self esteem with this dunk. While he probably won’t be an All-Star, he’s definitely helping out his free agent stock by averaging 19.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.

What’s been up with all these player dunking on people today? Between Damien Wilkins banging on Nenad Krstic and Robin Lopez dunking on his brother (kind of), it’s been a good day for the highlight shows.

Who’s had the best dunk of the day: Wilkins, Lopez or Boozer?

id say blair got it the worst b/c he got knocked down and reminded of his place on the totem pole. who cares if you got dunked on by damien wilkens. no ones making youtube vids of him and no ones gona know who he is 2 years from now.

Nice!–with that hand to the face too.

Considering who got dunked on and how, Boozer had the best dunk of the night by far.

Actually, if you look, Boozer’s numbers have been pretty consistent the past four years. The only blemish in that time period is he missed a bunch of games last year because of injuries, which could have been wear and tear from playing in Beijing. Either way, he’s probably going to cash in big-time this summer.

    yup. nc-17 facial.
but Boozer is still a lil punk ass bitch

Boozer has dunked on more people this year (2010, not this season, lol)… then he has in his entire career.

    I mean str8 baptizing people.

    Maynard –

Do you really think Boozer got worn down playing in Beijing?!!! He rarely made it off the pine and in all actuality he played less than he normally would that summer.

Iverson made the All-Star team. McGrady barely missed. I voted for T-Mac.

  • K Dizzle

Probably shouldn’t admit you voted for TMac on a hoops site…

Booz, realizes Utah wants to get rid of him so he’s playing the way he should have been. He just seems to get a bit lazy every now and then and mix it with his injuries and you’ve gotten a rediculious contract that needs to be traded. I wish he could have done this last year and he would already would have been resigned. We’ll see what Utah will do, but it will be interesting. I’m not a booz fan but man he’s made some people look stupid this year.

Is it just me, how hard is it to believe that this beast of a player grew up playing ball in Alaska of all places? He must’ve been ballin during the Summer time in LA or something what do you think?

  • jzsmoove

hate Boozer punk ass. when u turn against your words you gonna get what you deserve, wheel goes around asshole.

  • jzsmoove

wtf, and i’m not even a Cavs fan WTF!!!!

  • Maynard

    Chris —

Only if you think he didn’t practice all summer, which he did. He didn’t get a break, he just played right through, and he was in China instead of at home. Then he got quad and knee injuries and missed a whole bunch of games. Factor in that he also broke down the season after playing for Team USA in 2004. I’m not guaranteeing it’s cause and effect, but it’s certainly plausible that it is.

    @Pet Society Help

explain to me Hakeem Olajuan(The dream <.< ).

i understand that they are not on the same talent level but i don't see how playin in La would be any different from playin anywhere else.
