Derrick Rose’s Crossover Is A Little Too Fast For Thabo Sefolosha
Will Bynum is not the only guy from the Chi who has handles. Derrick Rose had some ridiculous crossovers last year and is resorting back to old habits. Against the Thunder last night, D-Rose victimized Thabo Sefolosha by luring him in with a couple of casual between the legs dribbles before faking left and crossing over.
After he got past Thabo, Rose jumped and went up and under a defender and finished with a left-handed circus shot. Rose finished with 26 points and 7 assists in the Bulls’ 96-86 win against OKC.

@flash
that’s not even a walk anymore. with the complex amount of moves and palming of the ball nowadays, 3 steps isnt even a walk anymore. it’s sad but true.
just look at lebron’s dribbles. everytime he drives, he crosses over, takes one step, and then a jump step and takes off on the lead foot. that’s 3 and a half steps. it’s just gotten so ridiculous, it’s hard to watch.
i just dont understand how refs believe that a person can take a cross over at the 3pt line and 2 steps can actually bring a player face to face with a big man underneath the goal and taking contact… aoerhaoierhoiaer its frustrating.

@nola,
Well have you ever seen Patrick Ewing, or Alonzo Morning or Dikembe Mutombo or Hakeem Olajuwon? All of these centers travel nearly on every shot in the 80′s and early 90′s (especially the G-town centers). So this has been the norm in basketball for years. So if it’s frustrating now, you must never have like basketball anyway.
