Will Bynum is not the only guy from the Chi who has handles. Derrick Rose had some ridiculous crossovers last year and is resorting back to old habits. Against the Thunder last night, D-Rose victimized Thabo Sefolosha by luring him in with a couple of casual between the legs dribbles before faking left and crossing over. Read More »
“Hey DIME are you all ever going to do those joints where the fans ask questions that the players answer. I love those?”
Not only do I think that’s a cool idea, but it so happens, Toronto is in town tonight. So we are giving you guys the opportunity to submit any questions you have (within reason) to any Raptors player you want. Read More »

For a No. 2 pick, Hasheem Thabeet is having a horrible season. And I’m sure this dunk didn’t help him feel good about himself either. Even though the Pistons are not going to make the playoffs (and the Grizzlies very well could), Rodney Stuckey can throw this poster up on his fall as he dunked on the 7-3 rookie.
Ramon Sessions may not be the biggest name in the NBA, but he’s somebody Knicks fans wouldn’t mind having on their team. Why? The 6-3 point guard has routinely had big games against New York. As a member of the Bucks last season, Sessions put up 22 points and 9 assists in one game against the Knicks and had 18 points and 8 dimes in another. He also had a 44 point and 12 assist effort in a game last year against the Pistons and had posted a 20 point and 24 assist game as a rookie two seasons ago. Read More »
I thought they only did stuff like this in football.
If you missed it, on Tuesday night unranked South Carolina knocked off No. 1 Kentucky in one of the most electric college basketball games of the season so far. As the Gamecocks were putting the finishing touches on the W in the second half, star guard Devan Downey (30 pts) urged the fans to come celebrate on the court, and after the final buzzer, they obliged.

Not that he really needed to, but Chris Bosh sealed what will be his fifth straight All-Star selection later tonight with a dominating effort against the Heat on Wednesday. Breaking out the throwback unis from the 1947 Toronto Huskies — oddly enough, a team that was also accused of being soft and not playing defense — the Raptors’ win moved them into fifth-place in the East while Miami dropped to sixth … The Raps were down by 13 in the first half, but rallied and were clinging to a small lead late in the fourth quarter. After Bosh (24 pts, 18 rebs) hit a jumper to put them up by seven, one T-Dot announcer screamed, “The cream rises to the top!” Even when Bosh messed up, it worked for him. Read More »
Asked why he picked Shaq for his All-Star roster but railed against Allen Iverson being voted in, NBA TV’s Chris Webber offered one of the weakest arguments I’ve seen since the stuttering attorney in My Cousin Vinny.
“Shaq actually has an impact on his team,” C-Webb said, pointing out that Cleveland has the best record in the League. “He’s the starting center on a good team.” Read More »
