Report: Three More Wizards Questioned in The Arenas Case

Gilbert Arenas’ locker may have been cleaned out and his gigantic billboard outside the Verizon Center may have been taken down, but Arenas is still the top focus in the world of the Washington Wizards. Not only does the team have to play without their best player for awhile, they’re going through hell having to deal with the media scrutiny and having to also answer to law enforcement officials regarding the locker room gun incident.
The USA Today is reporting that three Wizards, Caron Butler, Brendan Haywood and DeShawn Stevenson missed practice today to meet with authorities. On top of that, TMZ.com also reported that Antawn Jamison will testify in front of a grand jury today.
Another interesting bit from the TMZ article was the possible theory of Javaris Crittenton’s reaction to Arenas’ prank. Remember when we posted that there might be some surveillance footage of the incident? Well, apparently the locker room doesn’t have cameras inside, but there are cameras in the hallway outside of the locker room. The article says that Crittenton may have thrown his gun into a laundry basket and someone from the organization wheeled it out. Police are trying to see on the tape whether a laundry basket was wheeled out and what people’s reactions were leaving the locker room.

This is exactly why Arenas’s “joke” was completely irresponsible. I actually do believe that Arenas had only good intentions of playing a harmless prank, but nothing is harmless when it comes to guns. All it takes it some idiot to over react (Crittenton) and the whole situation gets scary.
If the Wizards so quickly took down everything to do with Arenas, this most likely means he has played his last game for the Wizards. If they cannot void his contract, they won’t be able to trade him either. That could be a real awkward situation…

Can we just chill with all the current alleged reports. Just because people were asking for gossip. Until something is concrete & we know for sure what went down the over coverage is getting sickening. David Letterman should have been on his own top 10. Gossip & rumors is what keeps everyone in media & news working. Let this man live. You guys are just as incompetent as you’ve assumed Gilbert & the other guy were.
Breaking News this & that yikes. Could it be the whole situation not only being over blown. Was handled incorrectly. Since when can judgement be made of allegations. The guns he brought to the locker room were as harmless as the ones he had in his hand in Phila.
I just wish they would cover this one up like the alleged referee scandal that I know is true. It has to be. I’ve thought and rumored for all these years. Eventhough I’ve seen cheating w/ my own eyes. I’ve lied to myself & said they wouldn’t. They did but Stern being the gangsta he is. Sweeped it under the rug.
With the league being as marketable as ever & generating billions worldwide? Has the talent level or the game of basketball itself benefited or suffered? The sad part of it all is. Gilbert’s fate is in the hands of human judgement. Hopefully the prosecutor isn’t trying to come up or make a name for themselves. Lastly this is going to play out however Stern wants it to. The R.O.Y year race is between Blake Griffin & Tyreke Evans.
I get the strange feeling there’s a reach to find something to make it stick on Gil. People are dead bent on this guy. How can people hate someone like that? Why do talk show host make so much $$$ per yr. What other jobs are overpaid? What is the #1 reason all athletes in the N.B.A. especially are overpaid?

It seems as if people think the more money you get. The wiser it is you get or life becomes a fantasy. I think people are just mad they can’t make that amount. It still doesn’t justify the opinion people have took over what someone reported. You’re just a rich human not robot,alien,etc
Again everyone that has an opinion judge yourself. Don’t be bitter or mad you don’t & didn’t make the N.B.A. You may have & could have gotten into a worse situation that this. What is a knucklehead. Someone that doesn’t act according to your rulebook. He a prankster & someone that loves & respects the game. Most people that comment never played the game & just want to be heard. Stern was pressured into making a decision. He didn’t know what to do? I still want to know what happened to the person who leaked the Rihanna picture illegaly? Who snitched or lied to Peter Vescey? Was he there? Does TMZ have access to N.B.A. locker rooms. Is anybody out there pyschic. So shut the hell up already. He needs this,deserves this. Who the hell are all of u? I want to Wack a Mole all of you people. I hope this thing blows up in the league face. They deserve it for the ill treatment of the players all these years. If I take care of my wife financially? Should I be allowed to abuse her physically or emotionally? That plane may fly over your head if you want it to? Let’s stop putting a band aid on the actual problem & making villians out of innocent people. That’s actually the person who should suffer a lost in salary & embarassment by the media.
Funny how no one could really back Gil. They all work for & under the N.B.A. or it’s umbrella. If anyone was to take a stance agaisnt the majority. They’d be fired or riducled to discredit.
