Robin Lopez Dunks On Brook Lopez

In case you didn’t know, I have a younger brother. And I don’t know about you, but I’d be furious if my bro crossed me up, let alone dunked on me. So while Brook was the No. 10 pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, Robin (who was No. 15) let his twin brother have some in last night’s game in front of their mother.

Watching Steve Nash work is like watching art…

  3. Flip says:

Wow.. if my twin brother did this to me (I do have one) I’d be mad as hell!

  4. hahns says:

i didnt know robin lopez actually got playing time

  5. dagwaller says:

@ control – I was thinking more along the lines of, wow, Courtney Lee…just wow. Good luck next time.

  6. Spliff 2 My Lou says:

Robin has actually been seeing a lot of tick lately. He’s taking minutes from Frye. Originally I didn’t think so but I now think Robin can be a good back up center in this league. He’s a hustler.

    thanks for posting this Dime

  8. mules says:

yeah, can’t fault Brook for that one. CDR should have slide over to cut off Robin’s path to the hoop once Brook had to slide over to Nash after Lee’s matador impression…then again, they are the Nets. Nice cut by Robin though.

  9. D.H. says:

I’m pretty sure I could do a better job than Lee. Nash is like, what, 10 years older than Lee. Lee’s gone from missing layups in crunch time for a contender to getting dusted by old guys on the worst team in the league. ouch

  10. Dagomar says:

Well, Robin didn’t dunk ON him – more like beside him. Although Robin has a reason to be pissed. His brother is turning into a vastly superior NBA player.

  11. Austin Burton says:

Seeing as my “little” brother is taller and stronger than me and plays college football, I don’t think there’s much I could do to stop him from dunking on me. I love the kid too much to foul the s*** out of him.

  12. asmaticasiatic says:

Courtney’s D was just horrible in that play, I know its Steve Nash but that was one average crossvover to get blown by like that….

  13. Chaos says:

yea terrible D by Lee, i think nash was surprised by him going to the bucket so easy….brook has been taking tick from frye, what happened frye? u see robin adjust his fro when get got back down court? he was feeling himself

  14. In-N-Out Lucas says:

I think Brook secretly let him do that, they have that strange twin-to-twin connection.

  15. Pet Society Help says:

That play alone explains why the nets are this horrible. Lee got caught flat footed, don’t know wtf Lopez was doing, Yi was actually playing the pick correctly. Credit Nash for his outside shooting for that play too.

  16. Mark says:

I don’t care who got dunked on, that family is getting paid.

  17. Gunner J. Matthews says:

I don’t know if Brook got dunked on more as Robin just getting to the basket quicker

  18. Ernesto says:

Brook did not like it at all.
