LeBron James Almost Breaks The Backboard Punching O.J. Mayo’s Shot
We all know that LeBron James leads the League in come from behind blocks, but this swat of O.J. Mayo’s layup attempt is just ruthless. If I’m playing the Cavs coming down on a fastbreak, I might tell one of my guys to set a pick on LeBron just to stop THIS from happening.

Sick block, but it bores me watching him do it tbh. Im the same with Josh Smith’s dunks, I know they are ridiculous, yet it bores me to watch them for whatever reason. Maybe they make it look to easy, I dunno

Honestly dude, are you just gonna post a video of LeBron James coming from behind and blocking shots every other 2 days? Not to mention you give the name of the articles names which don’t even live up to the video.
Im bored of LeBron James now, it’s either the same one handed slam, or the same block every week. He’s good and all sure, but how come things like Dwight Howard engulfing a ball out of mid-air wasn’t put up?
Get real.

Seriously, Rudy Gay had a nasty dunk on Lebron,(I believe) no less, last night, but I guess when you have your Lebron blinders on, it’s kind of difficult to sift through that sort of “stuff”.
Yes Lebron is awesome, but I’m pretty sure we’re going to see updates on what he ate for lunch soon enough on here.

Yeah like ANYONE is going to post that shit.. it could be the highlight of the year, if it happens to Lebron it wouldnt get any press.. and i’d bet bank on that one..
Im watching NBA TV last night and Rick Kamlas goofy ass was talking about injuries and hes say some shit like “yeah all the true warriors play through injuries like Kobe, Wade, LEBRON”.. I was just thinking when has Lebron EVER been injured to the extent of an Iverson, Bryant or Wade and played through it?? i never see Lebron injured all i remember is the thumb issue that people still get on him for.. well us fans.. not the media heads..
But on the flip side i would pay top DOLLAR to see him take the court with a nagging injury.. i dont even think i need to say what i think he would be without his physical attributes but if he was still as dominant i would have that much more respect for him.. to me Lebron is a player whose best years will be in his 20’s..
And you could minus these blocks off top.. there goes 1.4-5bpg right there..

Great highlight worthy block, but get a ring and I’ll be more impressed.

How the hell do people complain about this? This is arguably the block of the year, just because he is a freak and does it on the regular doesn’t make it any less impressive…and I’d say this was his best one so far all season.
And lol @ the guy saying the game was already in hand and he is a bitch for doing it. The second half had JUST started and they were playing one of the hottest teams in the league. Give me a break. Some people will find a reason to hate anything Lebron does

@16…No one is hating. It’s just frustrating at times. To see his block countdown on this site. We know already. Granted this one is sick & would have been cool had it been posted this once or maybe 3 times. This might be the 10th they’ve shown. Bron’s overkill hurts him more than anything. He’s the best player in the league. He would have had a ring. He only walks because his sneakers are custom made. Jay Z is his best friend. Is he leaving or going. He’s not the only player in the league. The fascination with him bothers all those. For the same reasons love their own hometown hero or star. It makes the games boring & rivalries. Like Kobe & LBJ isn’t what everyone want’s to see in the finals. Trying to control everything makes for what we have now. He’s the best because the reporters, anaylsts, experts say so.
I agree sometimes his physical presence & gifts make him seem like a man amongst boys. I’d also say his skill set aside from passing is on the same level. He’s brought walking & bullying people over to a new level. The one thing I appreciate he doesn’t do. Is flop to try & draw offensive fouls. I think I’d throw up. Basketball has rules that have stood the test of time. It’s not okay & a unfair advantage given & taketh away from players. Even with controlled outcomes he still hasn’t prevailed. That says a lot. They’ve tried saving him & getting him to the finals. It still didn’t work. Can he actually earn it? That is the million dollar question. If he never amounts to more than a Physical scorer. I’d say he may be the biggest BUST.
I don’t see it happening but it is possible. If he took 4 steps and charged to win a ring. Would it still count? #’s Lie Alot & can make anything seem true & good. If Lebron is the King what is the rest of the N.B.A.
Most of my rant is why people aren’t drawn naturally to him. His sneakers aren’t that cool. There’s not much about him to relate to. He seems very fake at times almost to conditioned to a fault. Him & Jay’s connection seems forced or to business minded. I still rather D.Wade. He doesn’t seem to try & be an endorsement star & it comes of closest to Jordan. As being able to hold & push a brand to its peak.
Lastly could someone in his camp,Jay,or anybody on the team tell him. To lay it up or do something aside from the one handed dunk. Get a post game, hit clutch free throws, work on a consistent jumpshot, Be an a&&hole when it counts, get that ring & accomplish all I could forsee you doing. Until then I’ll call you King What If.
@7…You sounded a little mad like you know Mayo personally. He little boy’d him on that one. I would have got a technical or try banging it on him the next play. I hear you though. Bron may come off like that in the media. I actually think he’s as cool as they come but tries to hard to please the masses. He want’s to be Magic,Mike,Penny,& himself all in one. He doesn’t want to upset the suits. To much $$$$ riding on him. He doesn’t want to be the next Vick,Tiger,Kobe and so on. Would you blame him? I also don’t think either of the three are monster’s. In their portrayal by the media.
The players aren’t the problem its the way their perceived. More players do good than bad but you’ll never hear or know about that. Just a bargaining chip to lower the salaries. It’s a problem to see a league like this. Where it’s players make the amount they do. Peyton Manning is up for a bonus. You won’t hear a word about him making to much. It’s crazy that people feel they should put a cap on people as a whole. More than half of the players in the league are there family’s business or breadwinner. Factor that in when you say they make to much or laugh when they say they need to feed their family. Their family that has a family. Everyone counts in Life or we’ll always have problems. All human at the end of the day. Why should some live way beyond others. The disparity is unjust & unfair. How could someone have more than they need & another have nothing. Switch places in your head & what you do. How would you feel?

Who would report it if he did indeed travel and win a chip?? thats the main question.. Not NBA TV.. we forgetting Stern already declared the KID the best EVER.. that says too much.. tales of the tape below..
I watch Kobe hit a game winner over the Bucks and all everyone can talk about is the blocking foul that PRECEDED IT..
I watch Lebron take 4-5 steps on the way to hoop like a RB, looking for contact, and all everyone can say is what a great closer he is..
Yeah but im a hater, dont listen to me..

I’m very surprised the editors of Dime Magazine allowed this post to be published, given the institutional bias against LeBron James that exists at this magazine. The Dime politburo has done everything in their power to malign LeBron over the years, and I fear the bias is race-based. Shocking, then, that they have a flattering piece on LeBron — for once.

I want to personally apologize for the comment I made about LeBron. I just happen to be a OJ Mayo fan. LeBron in my personal opinion is a d*** but that is just me. But, I’m tired of all of these LeBron fans and highlights. I think that LeBron has overexposed himself.

@ JBFC
I don’t think that it is all race-biased there are plenty of white people who have fallen in love with LeBron. I don’t like him at all. I used to when he first came into the league and I loved him. I wanna say that I started to dislike him during the 08-09 season when I realized the kind of person he is. From the stories I’ve heard he is rude to many of his fans. He often never tips at restaurants he attends. (That one I heard about don’t know if it true.) And, he is just a bully on the court. He flails around and he acts like a baby. Even some people in Cleveland are tired of his attitude. He is holding that town hostage. If he leaves that team for New York, or New Jersey it will be strictly for more money and a higher profile. That doesn’t make any sense to me since he has all of the endorsements in the world and he has almost the whole world on his c***. I do believe that he is a great player but that doesn’t mean that I have to like him. I’m not being a hater I’m just tired of watching him. LeBron fans need to understand that there will always be people that don’t like him.
P.S.: Don’t worry OJ we’ll get him back one day.
Grizz fan for life. (At least as long as they are in Memphis)
