NBA Trade Rumor: Nate Robinson To Boston In 5-Player Deal (Updated)

While yesterday’s Nate Robinson to Boston scenario seemed like it was going to be straight up for Eddie House and a second round pick, ESPN.com’s Chris Sheridan is reporting that the Knicks have reached a tentative agreement on a deal that would send Robinson and a second player to the Celtics for House, J.R. Giddens and Bill Walker. The identity of the second New York player was not immediately clear.
UPDATE: According to Newsday‘s Alan Hahn, Amid the McGrady deal, the Nate Robinson trade will bring back Eddie House, J.R. Giddens and Bill Walker, while Brian Cardinal will likely waived. No picks.
UPDATE: According to SI.com’s Ian Thomsen, Marcus Landry is being sent in this deal to the Celtics. He’ll enjoy a nice life playing in the D-League for the Maine Red Claws. I can picture it now…
Donnie Walsh: Alright Danny, you have to take Landry too.
Danny Ainge: Landry, I thought he was just traded to the Kings?
Donnie Walsh: No, this is his undrafted brother, Marcus.
Danny Ainge: Alright, whatever dude.
What do you think? Would you make this trade?

I’d make the deal. I’d rather do that than give away any draft picks. Who’s on NYK that actually makes the $$$ work in that?

yea wtf i thought the whole purpose of the deal was to get picks???I think there gunna try and flip Giddens or Walker (most likely since his contract is not expiring) in a deal for t-mac…the other player from the knicks side is marcus landry…so maybe since ther givin up on one of em they might get carl back too??wishful thinking haha

MAKE THE DEAL!
Nate’s a proven spark plug off of the bench, and something that something the progressively aging legs of the Big 3 can definitely benefit from.
J.R. Giddens and Bill Walker aren’t contributing enough to warrant not making this move, and Nate Robinson seems like an upgrade over Eddie House.
MAKE THE DEAL.

Hey, I don’t care…as long as SOMEBODY keeps CLEVELAND out of the Got-Dang FINALS!! I won’t be able to take the Bron-hype if he cops a ring this year (Kobe Fan).

POPPI GEE says:
Yea you gotta make that. I don’t know about giving House away if you Boston cause his three’s are daggers and he does specialize there.
Still Nate brings a pretty nice array of game to the table so yea I would do it.
Plus everything is kinda based off of LeBron Act anyway.
