After missing almost of all of the Sixers‘ games over the last two weeks (including the All-Star game) while he’s been tending to his ill daughter, Allen Iverson has reportedly once again left the team for the same reason. At the end of the day, the NBA is a business, and to that end Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Philadelphia is seriously considering severing ties with A.I.
“I talked to a couple of other doctors, a couple of other friends and they really kind of told me the same stuff that these guys told me. It’s not that I didn’t believe (Raptors doctors), but (friends) called me because they heard I wasn’t going to wear the mask and they said, ‘Don’t be stupid.’” – Hedo Turkoglu to The Toronto Star, February 7, 2010
When I was in Portland last week, I stopped through one of my favorite sneaker boutiques, Compound Gallery, to see what was good. Always carrying the hottest kicks and gear in P-Town, there were two Nike Sportswear shirts that definitely stood out from there rest. Check ‘em out. Read More »

Chase Budinger is one of those guys that has always had talent. That’s never been the issue. But for a guy that slipped from potential lottery pick to the second round, this year has definitely been humbling for the rookie. Luckily, the Rockets love the kid, and he’s been killing it of late. Averaging almost 27 minutes a night in his last five games, Chase has also gone for double digits in each for the first time this season. Check out this ridiculous play from last night’s game against the Hornets, where Chase steals the pass, goes behind-the-back and nails a pull-up three at the buzzer. Thanks to ClutchFans for the video.
Even though LeBron is only averaging 1.0 block per game, there’s probably nobody that makes SportsCenter more for their defensive prowess. This two-handed pin on the glass against Dwight Howard, which led to LBJ taking it coast-to-coast for the bucket, was just filthy.
