The Harlem Globetrotters Play On Ice

When the Harlem Globetrotters played the Washington Generals yesterday, they found a new way to beat them: on ice. Playing on a hockey rink for the first time in their 84-year history, the first ever ice basketball game took place in NYC’s Central Park. The NHL has the Winter Classic, let’s hope David Stern doesn’t get any ideas.

    Are those 9 or 9 1/2 rims or are those guys like 7’6? One of the guys can touch the rim without jumping…

    When I saw the Globetrotters last year they had Shagari Alleyne (Kentucky), who is like 7-3. They usually have one or two super-tall guys.
